Afternoon all, lovely to see so many people posting. Just back from another long walk on the beach with puppy, it is great to live so near to the sea and the forests too.
Benji there is always hope, never say never, I know that only too well but it took me such a long long time to realise it.

Morning
Had a moment of clarity with DD yesterday.
She calls me 'a brat' because I'll always have an alternative view and she's quite conservative in her thinking.
She lives in a 'Waltons' type world where everything is happy clappy.

When I was drinking I got the courage to give my opinion but she used to put it down to 'Mam drinking' and being 'brattish' (giving an alternative view).
Yesterday - I gave my 'out there' view on Religion - she did a double-take as if yo say "good God - this really was her all along" :haha:

Evening - just returned from an epic visit to the geriatric hospital with mother
We waited 3 hours to see a doctor for 10 minutes.
My mother being of a different generation has no private healthcare as it was expected, having contributed to the government coffers all her life, she'd be looked after in old age. NO !
You may be 87 - but we will bring everyone in at 10am and make them wait their turn. Our turn was 1.30 and out at 1.40 - gggrrrrr!:rant:

Needless to say my private healthcare will be up to date as long as I can afford it

Evening everyone, just in from work. Was awake for hours during the night. Always seems to happen when I have work the next day. Oh well will have an early nite. Our health care is a disaster, makes me so angry the way the old and vulnerable are treated. Your Mom is lucky to have you with her Satz. Wave to everyone else, need food 🥘 now
