I'm good,Mers, ta for asking. Had an attack of what the feck to I do with my hands...........its beginning to dawn on me how much my life revolved around ciggies..........I'll just hoover the living room then have a ciggie, I'll put the kettle on and have a ciggie, I'll just finish knitting this row and I'll have a ciggie..........ooh adverts on TV.......time for a ciggie on and on.

But its a fortnight tomorrow :yay: and there's a jumper I've got my eye on in H&M.

Yes JC, first few weeks are really hard, but you'll never have to go through that again .New jumper at the very least!

Mr M off (man flu) at the moment and its amazing how easier my days are - less tearing around and juggling. Pity hes getting better

He's getting better from man-flu Mary? Bloody hell, he must have been off for at least a fortnight, then, I know how that lasts....terrible affliction, and so much mocked by women...they really don' t understand

Howdy ho y'all. I just wanted to add to what satz said, and it's just how I feel, so take it with a grain of salt...

My belief and faith in God is stronger now than ever before in my life, but I don't go to a church and I was baptized and raised Roman Catholic. A church to me is a building, nothing more than wood and stone, my Church is my faith, I am my Church, and I attend it every single day.

You guys crack me up.

I'm at tire place, waiting for a new tire, half way home from a 250 mile drive. Tire blew out on highway. Dog and I are now sitting on curb because apparently donuts (small, spare tires in boot or bonnet or whatever it's called over there) aren't worth squat. Would've been a time when I drove the whole way home and didn't listen to them who told me it wasn't safe. But apparently I'm a grown up now. Pffft.

Anyway, I needed the laugh. So thanks!

Just howled at the man flu clips.

Ne, I would have just turned the radio up. As for cars.............the bonnet's at the front and the boot's at the back...........presumably because in the olden days we kept our boots in the back and shoved our bonnets on top of the engine to keep them warm...............we'll have you saying fortnight before you know it.

Good morning folks, sun is just rising, the birds are singing and it looks like it is going to be a lovely day. I have no thumping head, no dryness in my mouth, no aches in my back and best of all no regrets. Just playing over my yoga and meditation session last night again in my head and thinking how nice it is to finally respect myself a bit more and take care of myself a bit better. No regrets for that is a waste of energy and I am enjoying my new found life too much to bother with negative thoughts. Have a good day whatever it is you are doing, for today won't come around again.
