    Hi

    Hi everyone! I see a lot of familiar names on here. To make a long story short, I just celebrated 2 years sober last month and this place was part of the journey that got me there. Say hi if you remember me.

    hi Finally and congrats on 2 years sober. We always wonder what happened to those that wander off and its great to see you are here and sober. I bet your whole life has changed for the better now. I know mine has.

        Huge congrats fd! Another example to show us that alcoholism can be beaten!
        Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
        Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
        Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

          Lots of ups and downs! But it has been an amazing ride forward! I will write about the 2 year journey as time goes.

                11/27/19: messed up but back on track

                  Remember parts of your journey. There was that one thread that had many of us howling. Thank you!..

                  Looks like you caught yourself a steelie, salmon. Like getting my line out their once in a while. Need to get out more.

                    Before heading to bed, I wanted to say thank you for the kind words everyone. I am thankful and grateful for it. Have a great sober Sunday! Two years ago at this time I was stunned and depressed wondering what next. Today I look forward to every moment and cherish even the simplest things. Look forward to catching up and sharing this journey with everyone!
