1379 contented to be sober days.

Went to an Irish funeral yesterday.
They were serving food afterwards in a local GAA club.
When we arrived the shutters were down on the bar.
In the old days that would have panicked me - when can we get a drink to help mingle with this crowd? :egad:

I had some lovely food - and chatted easily with old friends ...... and people I've never met.
Folk started to drift to the pub after the food ...

We went home ( there's only so much mingling I can do ) :haha:

The shutters never came up on the bar.......

1734 days Thats 1734 mornings of not having a mouth feeling like a tramps flip flop,or thinking ..fk am I over the limit to drive?,or blagging at work ..rough night last night,didnt sleep too much,1734 mornings of thinking have I stashed the empties ok?,or I need a drink.com,1734 mornings of planning my drink day...oh and the small matter of not spending about £16.5 k on booze....

AF: 3-3-17 - 4-2-17 = 31 days continuous sobriety. :smile:

AF: 1-14-17 - 2-27-17 = 45 days. Had a 3 day binge. :redface: Since returning to MWO: Total AF days in 2017 is 76 days. :sohappy:

See somebody special is close to celebrating 7 yrs. :wink: For the celebration committee staff.
