Re: One Step at a Time - May 2017
Hello - am I back?
Wow - I can't believe how fast and helpful the administrators have been under what much have been such difficult circumstances. :welldone:There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes

Thought I saw Pauly's user name yest. Tho, no posts. Don't think you missed anyone on list Nora. Haven't seen Mario who you know posts on other threads.
Forum Manager Yesterday after resetting password, had to do again several hours later. Stated its been one day since you logged in. Only half a day. Will I need to continue re-setting password ea day, or 1/2 day? How long will guest viewing be disabled? Hope not long. Think it will deter people from signing up. As you likely know many people read, lurk before becoming members. Or members who may want to participate again. What's odd is that down at bottom of pg, where you can see who's logged in (minus anyway who has invisible mode turned on) there are guests on-line. Contradiction to my over thinking head. One more? Who within admin team has access to reading PM's? Think only admin can read database. I ask because something was mentioned out in the open. Doubt it was from person in Pm convo. Is it possible the hacker stole our passwords? When you have time, hope you'll be able to help. Thank you!.....

Ne that's fantastic! Good for you. It does feel good doesn't it!
Rusty, I fear you may all tire of my endless chatter about weddings and babies. Thank you for letting me share.
Nora, how is your stomach feeling? Thanks for helping me out yesterday. I was finally able to get some help logging on today!
Glassie it seems you straightened out your computer issues too.
Things have settled down here after my marathon work week and the shower, Back to normal and I am enjoying it! CJ and I went shopping for her wedding shoes and we found the perfect ones. She isn't always in the mood for shopping so we had to seize the moment and we did. She found a dress for her bridal shower too. A little early I know, but when your looking you usually don't find, she just happened upon it. Erin is feeling good. She had another doctor appt today. She goes every two weeks now till she delivers.
Waves to everyone else. Hope these "issues" are behind us now

Hello all
Liz - glad you are back Great that CJ found shoes and even a dress. I was one of those problem children too - I did not like going shopping. I still don't like going shopping to be honest. Glad that Erin is feeling good. Exciting times."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Re: One Step at a Time - May 2017
Hi all! Wow, crazy times. I couldn't get on earlier this weekend so I texted Liz just to check in. I'll have to read back. Note to self: its really good to have a text "buddy" in case this happens and you can't connect with anyone online! Thanks Liz!
More later, so glad to be here with you all - AG

Liz-I am getting more excited by the day as we wait for the birth of your first grandchild. Thank you for keeping us up to date on all the festivities and taking us along with you.
NE-I think it's fantastic that you don't want to drink! It sounds like really this rehab was the best choice for you… As opposed to the previous rehabs. Not all treatment programs are created equal... and I am so proud of you for never giving up… And always trying to find your way out. I'm so delighted that you post on our thread.
SK-so glad your surgery was successful and I hope you heal quickly.
Techie, my love...what is your next course of therapy?
The rest the week I will be in Chicago and again, working long hours.
So glad to see our thread
just booming with positive, encouraging, hopeful posts. I just love the energy we have here.
Wishing everyone a peaceful night!Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Re: One Step at a Time - May 2017
Hi. Been MIA. Have lurked some. I've missed you guys. After more company and good times out on the town, monday and May 1 I was so ready for AF time. So this is Day 3. Feel fantastic. Sleeping is hard but took 2 Benadryl last night and that helped.
Avoided meeting at bar after golf yest. Had a good game, then didn't want to be tempted. Tonite invited to dinner. Right now I feel strong because I just feel so totally different. Initially, I thought just quit drinking during week. It took me a long time to get to Day 1 again so rethinking that.
Had to change my password but no issues logging on.
Techie, is it mainly the CEA number they are tracking? Wishing you great results tomorrow!
