Thanks JC!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Re: Join the Army Against Alcohol-May 2017
Good morning, lovely AAAers,
tonyniceday...........rant away, love. Was nice to get that off my shoulders too. Just as well its in the afternoon as I'm going to see Paul Rodgers on Sunday night and nothing is coming between me and my future husband.......he doesn't know yet..........but I'll do the decent thing and wait until Mr JC runs off with Holly Hunter.
Update on my Aunt, the one with dementia...........she thinks she's at teacher training college at the moment..........thank god she remembers she was a teacher. Been told by another of the aged aunt brigade not to bother visiting at the moment as visits from family make her worse. She can just about manage the aged aunt I'm talking about.
And poor auld Bess has a bit of arthritis in her front legs. She's got some meds and its working very well. She's gone back to lolloping about and leaping on the bed in the middle of the nightIt could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: Join the Army Against Alcohol-May 2017
Hi Molly, welcome back. Hope all sorts itself. Amazing day and spent it all outside in the garden, feeling it now. Like Bess JC getting older. So much to be done. My two oldies (dogs) have crossed the rainbow bridge but the two I have now are young wans and full of energy. One of them spent the day stalking baby rabbits . You can't stop her, the second she smells them in garden she's off. The other one has no interest. Feet up now and it will be an early night.

Made me smile about your young 'uns. Jenny's run of her feet with Buddy. I was on the phone with her this morning and the conversation was interrupted with........her saying things like.............what's that in your mouth............come here.......get down...........put that down.......no put it down.........that's my foot your chewing. Actually sounds very much like her when she was toddler and I was on the phone. It could be worse, I could be filing.
