God how sad is that - when did it become about the parents & getting drunk ?
Why does EVERYTHING have to be surrounded with alcohol. It's getting scary that we are now rearing another generation that know nothing else.
T'was bad enough in our kids' day but there was no alcohol involved at communion :egad:

Dont get me started.. an 8 year old (who wanted me to stay longer so my kids would too) suggested I 'relax and have a glass of wine'..
Honestly, I am NOT anti drink, just anti this culture that we are embracing. It is NOT ok to drink a bottle of wine a night and yet the response to this is 'Ah sure you have to unwind'
On the flip side, there is a fitness/health movement going on - kids are very aware of nutrition, it has to rub off..

Morning from the sinner among you........christened but never confirmed. Neither are the kids there's just Mr JC who's saintly. Its normally our teens for proddies when we get to do communion classes and tbh being a teenager is so much more important and squeezing spots seem like a better way to spend 2 hours a week.

Much more sensible JC. The white dresses and veils freak me out a bit!

Just heard of the explosion at that concert. JC, Mick and anyone else in the Manchester area. Are you and family ok?
