    TEAM SHOUTY OUTY............let's get this started .............its for those who are just starting out for the very first time, perhaps starting again and for those of us who have been here more than a while...........

    3 years 5 months and 6 days or 179 weeks. Still cant believe some days this is my life but hard work and dedication are showing results. Lucky me!

      Well look at this, another week for me!
      Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
      Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
      Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

            Still coasting toward the five-year milestone. A thought of a glass of wine crosses my mind occasionally, then just floats away.
            My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

              911 days here and happy to shout! Thought I was approaching 2 1/2 years, but doing the math realized that happened 2 months ago! OOPS!

                      I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

                      Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years
