Posted that but some people think its controversial. But it makes sense. Its why we use forums at a minimum to communicate. It definitely doesn't discuss Withdrawal Symptoms but post withdrawal and how to live or even prevent addiction. And the weird stigma's that surround addicts and their presumption of guilt all the time. Not that a rat has that type of memory of judgement but its definately insightful. Thanks for posting.

DOG PARK progress. Not that my dog will be an addict. But I think thats the point of the conversation. Shame is a screwed up thing. Thanks for reading the rest of my threads.

Hi Empyr. Sorry to double up and post again, i didn't realise you'd posted this one. I could only see any controversy coming from non addicts. the key points of his talk and published kosher research referrals are right on. Reconnection to community and a meaningful life are key to good mental health and survival. I agree with his point made about bonding. We need to/have an innate instinct to bond with something, connect with something whether that's another human, a group, or a drug, we will find it and do it. Having a drug/s as our primary and main connection and focus in life ends in isolation and tears. I will argue this anytime. Looking forward to more enlightening TED talks.

          Re: TED talks. Share.

Reup it, it's an important video! Its an important thing for people to learn before severe addiction. Socialization is huge. CBT, DBT. Shame will screw with you. I use many types.

The weird part I have learned. Is that I experienced trauma as a child and found comfort in drugs and alcohol. Became addicted to feeling that I belonged too aka friends. Then blamed and always told I was not the same and was wrong. I ended up isolated. The withdrawal is tolerable if you know how to manage it; the shame and the psychology is what is what rules my world. I learned connection with MDMA and having a good job which gave me pride. The opposite of shame. We are the loneliness society that has ever been.

I use dog therapy. Shame sucks. And Shame is personal but when the judgement is hit with guilt it compounds and does not help. So what is this weird way of "bigging yourself up" so you can take someone else down.

This video is an important part of recovery but I don't think its the be all.

The problem is psychology comes first; drugs that null things or vitamins that aid in recovery are important.

Why do we look at drugs as money and police and its all psychology. God damnit.

I know MDMA is taboo, especially with unregulated ecstasy. But give it a watch. Do not buy it on the street.

I dont think of MDMA as a psychedelic. Its the worlds most powerful therapy tool we know. I have done LSD, Acid, Mushrooms, Ketamine. I have opinions of all of them. MDMA is not scary like the way the other can do.

I think psychedelics are shock treatment where as MDMA is a total opposite.
