Woke up an hour ago and making myself stop reading about it [MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]. The people I truly pity are those in blocks nearby that have been refurbished in the same way. Truly terrifying for them right now.
[MENTION=23850]empyr3al[/MENTION] ....... (had to sleep before....apologies for leaving the convo) I love your flat and I am sure it is perfectly safe. I am going to visit Canada soon. I emigrated to New Zealand 15 years ago and Canada was my second choice. My daughter is thinking to move there when she qualifies .... she is studying 3D animation and Canada apparently has good companies.

Its freaking cold and the extremely hot depending on season. I guess you could say its the best of both worlds but holy crap the adjustment is hard. No apologies required. Canada is huge so really don't evaluate it on where you visited. Southern Ontario is awesome. Ontario is esspecially awesome. From dry to high humidity. To lakes all over the place. I would like to visit New Zealand sometime to see how it compares.

Our climate is very temperate, especially here in Auckland. Winter rarely sees a sub zero and summer peaks at 30. It rains regularly but not hard or for long. There is an expression that Auckland has four seasons in a day and that makes us pretty laid back. Very green, very fertile, very peaceful.

Jealous. New Zealand has some of the biggest drug reforms in terms of cost. I have a friend living there. In Niagara we like to brag about our weather and same with Montreal. But its hardcore shifts season to season. I will visit new zealand on my next trip. Going to start planning that now. Whats recommended as places to visit?

Never got a chance to knit a row today...........busy, busy, busy. One of the other volunteers who is also the chair of the Thursday AA meeting has asked me to do the main share next week..........I asked if it would be all right as I'm not an AA goer..... he's going to ask.......he thinks my share would be interesting............my turn to blush.

Can't see for the life of me why you couldn't do the share... I always quite liked doing them actually - couldn't understand why I didn't feel shy nor nothing..
Joe's foot is a lot better than his head -- haha -- the fecker CAN'T sit still -- but he has to -- he has to go to the bone specialist on Tuesday and ORDERS not to put the foot anywhere near the ground.. jeez I'll be glad to go back to work for sure!!!

Neither can I but I'll bet there's one or two die hards will have the vapours at the very thought.
