Morning all...just in from work...you part timers!

Good morning Tony and all to come. Don't knock the part time, I work two days a week (paid work) best arrangement ever. Sun is shining, looking forward to a day at the baths.

Jealous. New Zealand has some of the biggest drug reforms in terms of cost. I have a friend living there. In Niagara we like to brag about our weather and same with Montreal. But its hardcore shifts season to season. I will visit new zealand on my next trip. Going to start planning that now. Whats recommended as places to visit?

When visiting you cannot put a step wrong.....we have beauty even minutes from our 'poor' areas. Even after 15 years my jaw is on the floor at how awesome this country is. Auckland is the biggest city in the world in terms of size but we have so much green and such stunning beauty even in inner city that you would swear you were in a resort.

There is nowhere to avoid and beauty everywhere plus amazingly friendly people to help you out.

Can't see for the life of me why you couldn't do the share... I always quite liked doing them actually - couldn't understand why I didn't feel shy nor nothing..
Joe's foot is a lot better than his head -- haha -- the fecker CAN'T sit still -- but he has to -- he has to go to the bone specialist on Tuesday and ORDERS not to put the foot anywhere near the ground.. jeez I'll be glad to go back to work for sure!!!

I am always amazed when drunks like us have partners that ARENT drunks. How do they put up with us?!?!?!

Haha!! Well ill have you know I'm the queen of the lawnmower today - haven't cut the grass since I was a kid - love the smell of it - would have loved to have met Tony but I think it wasn't to be that day! Joe is after having an argument with dother fellas insurance company - they wanted to send out an assessor to assess compensation for personal injury and Joe firmly told him he only wants his bike fixed - think yer man thinks he's a loon!!

From queen of the road to queen of the lawn mower..........onward and upwards........what's next.

I can see where Joe is coming from unless its going to interfere on his long career as a gigolo and well known professional tango dancer its not going to affect him.

Spent a month backpacking there in the 90s, couldnt agree more Kuya, it's stunning, Id go back in a heartbeat.

Part-time???!!! I wish!! Ah not really - like working full-time - always feel the people who aren't there all the time get left out and sort of side-lined!

Im in both camps. LOVED part time, but now, Im getting into the swing of full time again - well, sort of had to, otherwise Id be miserable! If I had a long commute though, it would be a different story.
100% wouldn't be able to do it if I was still knocking back the wine at night. Well I would, and I did, but everything was harder.

Severe dog therapy, mixed with plant therapy. Still have to put blankets its in the small cage. Thinking of taking the doors off as the one dog thinks of it as home. Not sure about my new dog Sadie.

I'm grand, Molly, ta for asking. Got a lovely wee top in a charity shop yesterday.........was so excited with it I left my jacket there. Luckily they haven't sold it so I'm picking it up this morning.

Had one of those mornings in town where everything fitted nicely, yes I did neeeeeeeeeeed those shoes, and that top, oh and that blouse and the exchange of a another floaty top..........got the S&H's birthday card.........it so blooming hard with his birthday being around Father's Day to find a card.
We're buying him a strimmer and a hoe...........seems like yesterday we were getting him a Playmobile pirate island

haha -- yup -- often have those thoughts buying my 'kids' 'grown up' presents -- poor Joey is trying to pick my brains on something that'll pass as a fathers day present but will amuse Joe while he's bored rigid sitting around -- buggered if I can think of anything..

Mr JC steadfastly won't do Father's Day...........he'd strangle the kids.........he reckons its just more commercialisation...........and of course I managed to pull of a big coup by giving birth to the son and heir on Father's Day.

It could take on a life of its own...............he could build the scenery and the highlands to show exactly where it happened using papier mache. Lego people for the police............its endless. Spread it all over the dining room table and wait for it..............plaques.

On another subject....

Any thoughts on why, after 148 days sober, and not having had any drinking thoughts for ages, last night when I got in from work I had a really really strong craving. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm on Antabuse I may well have caved in...not had it for ages and there wasn't even a "trigger" so I just don't get it...I know most of you on this thread are way ahead of me in sober time, but do any of you remember getting this at an inexplicable time?
