Morning Molls, had to go look to see where Ullapool was............gorgeous. May the sun shine on you.

I managed 'til 3:30am and tbh only went to bed because I was cold...........not sure about the results but its given Tessa a well deserved poke in the eye.............that is all yous will get from the Army political correspondent.

Can't avoid watching the results from blighty. I am a left winger (who, nonetheless, despised Blair) and was deeply troubled by the Brexit decision. This result restores my confidence that uk voters care more about people than media driven xenophobia.

Brexit will still, sadly, happen but maybe there will be a benefit overall.

The results in Holland, the results in France, and tonight the results in the U.K. hearten me.

I feel somewhat reassured that the European public is much more mature than I feared.

The funny thing about the election is that whatever your political persuasion, whichever way you voted, and whatever you think, we can all be equally pissed off today - result - everyone feels the same!!!

Just off from a marathon phone call with one my Aunts..........not only did we put the country and the world to rights we discussed bikini line waxing, dog cages, adverts with the meerkats in them and her trip to the US in August.

Must learn crochet.

Thanks for the good wishes about the no smoking. The surprising thing is I'm not eating like several horses and I'm walking a lot...........not the hiking up and down the hills but I'll walk instead of getting the bus a few stops.

A zillion kids here tomorrow for a party, work is v busy so stressing about this too, not that one kid will give a fiddlers if they get their icecream in a mug (short of bowls and a complete drought on small spoons :eyes
On the upside, Im not lashing into my next bottle of wine to add to lovely hangover to the festivities - it will all be fine...

Morning oh lovely ones.

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]..................Mr JC gave up smoking 1985......but even he says very rarely a ciggie at the end of a meal seems like a good idea.Skin's a lot better, been treating myself to a sunbed once sometimes twice a week (nowt silly), eating well but nothing daft. But noticed a big difference in the the clothes. Took me a while to realise it as tbh never really noticed the smell of stale smoke( denial).............we do have the eternal whiff of dog and sometimes wet dog (like all this week) but I'm not giving up Bess.

Jenny, the fiancé and Buddy are staying tonight . They're going next door to watch the match as I can bear watching England play.

Just realised Molly will be up there for Scotland v England game this aftie. England bashing is legal in Scotland not only on match days
