      Quick check in to avoid the tumbleweed! Not that good on posting stuff and feel a bit guilty that I gained and took so much from the Army (in particular.) I never seemed to contribute to the forums, so probably felt I was best just staying away. Never did any lurking either.
      Anyway off to help at a race where they are all running in fancy dress. Should be hilarious as the temperature is almost Athens standard and therefore we are due a thunderstorm.
      BTW even the story on womens hour this morning involved booze. I feel a campaign coming on!
      Also in my running group we have 10 men in recovery and all have been doing great one has been sober for 30 years--They really help each other.

              Good point Molly.. suppose that how it started for most of us, a lurk.. a shy post and the shock of people replying. Actual people.. got it and gave a shit. No regrets... and nothing to lose.

                  Great conversations this week. As a serial relapser, I know that I once I lapsed I tended to stay away and just lurk but sometimes you can gain from reading about the people who had gotten it and are busy leading happy productive, alcohol free lives. Also when you read about somebody like Ktab who might not have made it first attempt but preservered it can motivate you. Molly s advice about romancing having a glass was exactly what I needed to read about this week.

                  With the amount of cakes being baked I reckon the army is a good place to hang your hat. Lots of success. Ok some days are about the nitty gritty but if you have a wobble you could not find a better bunch.

                  Another busy day here, just waiting for dinner to cook. Hope you enjoyed your hike Satz and good luck with the job search. Wave to everyone else.
