        Iam ...congrats on your 2 years that is brilliant ...well done...

        Satzy..I am typing this on a laptop ..it has been fully pat tested,I have done an introduction course into using it...the chair I am sitting on has been risk assessed for posture weight etc I am aware of the rules of using computers...have a nice day!

            I find posting photos expresses something about me that words cannot describe so thats why I do it.

            Hosting and storage cost a fortune as well how much bandwidth and power consumption. So if MWO started hosting more photos and there are http links to them it means then they become a photo storage site and that likely unaffordable and not this sites purpose. If a server or drive failed people would be pissed off with lost images unless its run in a RAID configuration but that is nuts too because drives fail. I have not yet checked how MWO is hosted but its simple for me to do if I care that much to do it. Hosting at home is possible in the right areas but most are now off site in safe environments and that costs $$$ This IP is registered though go daddy in arizona. I'll do a traceroute later. I have run forums decades ago off of private home servers at this point and storage and bandwidth were the critical parts. There are no ads on this site so the income is simply from people willing to register as subscribers. Seems this site is more about someone or a bunch of people trying to make a safe place for people to get sober.

We pray for rain to break it but that comes at a cost to our water levels and sewers, sanitation. Record amount of extra that could not be treated was dumped which is disgusting but this spring has been insane and even now still in the summer.

                            Good morning from a sunny and warm (not hot) Athens!!

                            Jackie - I would love a piece of your lemon cheesecake.! But I think you underrate yourself. I remember that you made some very successful red velvet cakes in the past.

                            Mary - again congrats - the sober life gets easier with time until it is simply a way of life we don't even think about.

                            Molls - don't you just hate those "know-it-alls". Geez, they come into my store to ask about our products and when I start to explain to them the technical details, they go, yah, I know, I know. If you know so much, then why did you come in here and ask me in the first place?? Bugger me!!

                            Can't wait to hear how Satzy's first days at work went. :flowerspin:

                            Empy - I grew up just north of Lake Ontario - my sister lives on Hay Bay near Napanee and the water level is really high this year as it is all over the province. Don't know if you know Ontario at all but there are a couple of Provincial Parks right on the water - the Sand Banks being one of them. Guess what - no more sand banks - they got washed into the lake. Really freaky when you think of it. And it was just last year or the year before that they had no rain at all in the spring-early summer. Six weeks of drought and everything dried up completely. Crazy weather!!
