Whereas Jenny was covered from head to toe to places not to be mentioned....................I remember her being on a sun lounger in the house covered from head to toe in that calomine stuff crying out...........'Why has God given me this terrible disease'.................mind you she was going through a religious phase and her and her best mate had decided to be nuns when they left school.................they were 5 at the time.

.The Wrong Shoes.............should be a movie..........suppose all right if they were vaguely similar would be ok but if one was a platform and the other was a flat must have been a bit of problem as well as fecking hilarious to watch.

I do remember wanting to be a nun too at one point, probably at a similar age to Jenny, I suspect the novelty wore off by 6. You don't hear of anyone joining the convent anymore, must google that.

2 youngest decided to start vomiting at 4.30am and then the day just rolled down the hill from there.. so glad its bedtime!

Hello.
Got the bug. Bit miserable. Head aches, body aches and I'm shivering. Kids bounched back today so should be grand tomorrow.
Does feel like a bad hangover. Can't believe I let my self feel like this week after week.
Unlike a hangover, this has a silver lining, I may be able to squeeze into my favourite jeans for my Holidays :happy2:

Not working last 2 days Mers - but 3 days this week from tomorrow & 3 Sundays in a row coming up :egad:

Hi Mollydear, lots going on in my little world too, some good some not so but AL is absolutely nowhere in the picture or even on the horizon and that is the single most important thing for me personally at this stage. Hope you get to sort stuff, or let it go whichever is applicable.

Have had some trouble finding the Army thread. The site comes up in a new format and it's very confusing.

Glad to hear all are well or almost well. Mary - had a bug last week. Nauseous for a couple of days - luckily I could still work since we have no one to take my place. Hope you are better soon.

Molls - I know what you mean about not wanting to talk. Sometimes things are overwhelming and I just want to forget about them rather that discuss them.

KTAB - good for you on keepin' on keepin' on!! You sure have your eye firmly on your goal. Great job!!

Jackie - hope Bess is better.

Satzy - how are you liking your new job? Co-workers, work conditions, etc. Hope it's interesting and entertaining!!

Ended up ringing the vet. We'll be taking her in Saturday...........although she seems to improving day by day. For now she's on a chicken, scrambled egg and rice diet.

Evening ladies, ta for the comments, listen I am grand just got lots of distractions going on at the moment, soon enough it will quieten down or perhaps it will be something else so no big drama, that's just life, this too will pass.
In other news I had an interview last week and learned today that I have been called for a second one on friday week, down to a shortlist of three I am a told so fingers crossed cause my current place looks far from secure.
