Another sober week from me. To use No Sugar's analogy from elsewhere, this has been the sort of week where I had to pull into the service station, put the seats back for a nap, have a couple of double espressos and then keep on trucking!

              Yeppers, another week for me!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

I don't often use the days calculator tool, but today I have 1780 AF days, getting closer to five years.

Life is good, no reason at all to mess it up with alcohol.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

Looks like I missed some giant milestones. JC - wowowowowow. 8 years is amazing. Thanks for sticking around here and supporting all of us in shouting out our sobriety. Great stuff.

And PIE, 3 years!! Also amazing. Congratulations and keep on keeping on.

                      Happy Sunday, all.
