Thanks for checking in on me. Apparently, as well as a pulmonary infection, the xray showed some heart problems so I'm having an echocardiogram tomorrow. I've had some more blood tests too. Hopefully will get to the bottom of all this soon!

Glassie:hug:I am glad the docs found your infection but now you have heart problems??? I will be praying the heart problems can be addressed with medication and you will be back to your wonderful self!:heartbeat:

            bird-congratulations on Day 4...must be Day 5 today!:welldone:

At work with gorgeous, divorced client who always give me a big smile and a hug when he sees me. He has mostly 20 something young men working for him and they greet me as if I were handing out million dollar bills. I feel so loved today.

Big hellos to all my friends here...happy AF Tuesday!

Thanks bird. Well done on day 6! The job sounds hard, but no doubt would be MUCH harder with a hangover, so stay strong.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. I'm sure I'll be fine. They take heart stuff very seriously here, so if it was anything serious they would have whipped me into hospital before you can say pulmonary embolism.

Welcome Back, Catch!:happy2::welcome:It's great to see you back here. I used to follow your posts religiously as 2008-2009 were my worst drinking years ever. You were always so supportive of others.

Hmmmm.....did I hear someone say our thread was kind of quiet and dying a while back? I think not!!! LOL!

Catch - great to see you. I saw you had posted on some threads but I haven't had a chance to post to you. Glad to see you here.

Liz - I am so sorry. Prayers.

Glassie - please keep us posted. Just a side note though - in January when I ended up in the hospital with my 'heart' issue. I was so very sick with the flu. All my heart tests came back perfect. I'm counting on yours coming back exactly the same. (And by the way - nobody is saying pulmonary embolism  )

Rusty - You sound happy. Do you feel a weight off your shoulders now that you made the decision to not take on that extra work? Happy is important.

Bird - Congrats on Day 6. How are you doing today? I've been thinking of you. Hard to start a new job but you are doing it. :yay:

Big hugs to everyone. I have got to run. Hospice has started and things are very hectic getting it all in place. Lots of appointments to be set up.

Glassie - PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP xxooxx

Liz - I'm so sorry about your friend.

Nora the x-ray showed that my heart was enlarged and a bit of an abnormality with the aorta, but that may well just be due to the infection. I'm sure it's nothing serious. How do you feel about the hospice visit? Do you think they'll be helpful?
