Pauly, glad the baby got to come home. Good for you for not letting Michelle in the car with the beer. Yup, kids!
Beautiful day here, but sadly I have a full schedule of appointments. Maybe later on I can get some pool time?
Pauly, I may have to come by you for a haircut. I called my salon for an appt with my regular stylist, the first available is Sept 22! I've been with her for 23 years! Grrr. I may just try my sisters salon, if you can't squeeze me in Pauly.
Wishing us all a great AF Thursday!

Re: One Step at a Time - August 2017

Hey all. The texting stories are too funny. Hubby sent a very unpleasant text one time so I told him to f---k off and auto spell kept changing it to duck off. Didn't have the same impact.

Peggy is fine at 10 yrs old. she is demonstrating some behaviour, i.e. she wants me to be with her all the time and being very stubborn.

I found another wet spot today in the rug in living room, so I'm drying that out.

Vivian came over today and played with the garden, and watched Jessie on the computer. She loves scrambles, so that is what I had planned for lunch and Tuscan Melon and peaches. She had a black cherry soda, a magnum bar. a popsicle and laffy taffy, No scramble. Oh dear!

Well that's all from a hot, humid tx.

            Hey all.
Skendall that sounds like a lovely afternoon with your granddaughter! Can't wait to spoil Logan. Lucy is 11 now and is sleeping soundly right next to me. She wants me all the time too.
Just a quick check in for me. Have a good night guys!

              Hi.
Back from the doc. I have some new cough medicine to try. Hopefully that and a quiet weekend may settle my chest down a bit.

Good luck with the mammo results Liz.

Wow. Have now been dosing for 12 hours with super strong liquid codeine and I can almost breathe properly for the first time in days. See you in the morning.

                    Good Morning, and Happy POETS!:heartbeat:

Glassie-so glad you got a med to make you feel better....finally!

SK-I loved Vivian's idea for lunch. HAAHAHH!

Pauly-to answer your question, the one hour time change does not bother me but the altitude does for the first few days. I find myself very tired. Thx for asking.

I was here at work at 5:00 AM with my client, so back to it until I fly out at 2:00 PM.

                    Hello to all I missed!

Glassie, glad you have relief. That cough medicine is gooooood.

Rusty I don't know where you were re altitude, but I also get that in Colorado. and so does the dog. I hot tailed it out of there with water and caffeine because the bed is too tempting. I hadn't thought about altitude because I usually took a different route. My driving was 8 - 4 everyday and as we were climbing CO I felt this incredible fatigue and my muscle ItI had to pull off at the nearest motel.

Peggy was full of energy today and after her walk here she wouldn't come in so I took her to a park, then she threw up. She's 10 and wants to do a long walk but pays for it later.

Anyway cooked Peggy's food and now I have to make some calls.

Hey guys late check in for me after work helped CJ and Joe pack some boxes of their things. Just a little dent in a huge project but it's started. Looks like they're really going. For today, I was ok.
Mark just booked flights to Switzerland for us in December . My boys like skiing and I'm just tagging along this time. I'm hoping to find some Christmas Markets or a spa wherei can pass some time while they are on the slopes. I feel as though everyone is taking vacation except for me. I know, whoa is me, right? Something to look forward to after the wedding. So looking forward to it.
Glassie I'm glad you finally got something to help you and got some much needed rest.
Rusty, hope you got some rest on the plane on the way home.
Skendall, Lucy is 11 and I have honestly not seen any slow down in her, granted she's pretty mellow anyway. We don't take her out too long when it's hot out.
                        Have a great night guys.

                          Good morning and happy Saturday!
Pauly, just wondering how Kelly is doing? When is she due again? Do they want to know the sex of the little one ahead of time?
Not much new since last nite. Hubby and I are headed to Connecticut (2 hour drive ) to pick up his new car. It's gonna be a long day.
                          Enjoy your day!

Pauly does Louie know about the baby yet or is it still a bit soon?

Liz - how long is the Switzerland trip? I'm sure you can find some lovely ways to pass your time while the others are skiing.

Seems, I spoke a bit too soon about the miracle drug yesterday. It did help but apparently doesn't agree with my stomach. :eeew:

Aww Glassie, enough already! Something's gotta help make you better. How about some plain old fashioned chicken soup? I'll make some and send it over express delivery!
The trip is one week! My sister happily agreed to watch our dog!
Hello everyone and have a good night:love:
