Re: One Step at a Time - August 2017

How was everyone's Tuesday? Hubby bought a new, actually used car. That was my excitement for the day. Don't know if I mentioned last week, his transmission went.

Rusty, I would love to see SLC, maybe one day. I guess the air quality is pretty bad with that haze?

Waves to everyone, and wishing us a quiet AF night. I think I'll still head to the blankie fort.

Sunni - great to see you! I was so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Yes - I was really sad/shocked to hear about Ruby & Mario. Hope you drop in more often.

Rusty - yes - I still have my floater. Sorry you've got them too. I'm glad that you are enjoying your time in SLC.

Went to the dermatologist and I have skin cancer on my nose. Drat. He'll also biopsy a place on my hand and my back. Seriously - it has to be right on my nose?!? Anyway, I go back next month to get it taken care of.

Re: One Step at a Time - August 2017

So…3rd visit to Dr this month and I’m now 6 days into 3rd different med schedule and I’m still struggling – especially trying to juggle work and uni when all I want to do is stop coughing, breathe for a few minutes and sleep. I am NOT good at being sick!

Nora – sorry about your nose…and your eye…..

Rusty I’m glad you’re enjoying SLC

I’m about to go to bed, but I popped into the blankie fort to make it ready for anyone who needs it (Liz, Pauly?). The beds and cushions are all neat and straightened, I’ve vacuumed up all the cookie crumbs (you know who you are!), and I left some lovely body cream and scented candles for you.

            Love you guys.xx

              Good Morning,

Nora-no, I have not heard from Techie. Techie...we are all praying that you are feeling well and the prognosis is good. We miss you here!

Glassie-what a drag that you are STILL sick!!! I hope this latest course of meds clears everything else. So glad you swept up the cookie crumbs in the blankie fort. Yup, I am guilty.

Big hellos to everyone else. Happy Hump Day!

When we went home our phones went to UT time(even tho its still NV) and we were all confused. I think Techie was headed somewhere out of the country last time he posted? I'd hafta look back, anyways hope he's fine, after this news of Mario I'm starting to get paranoid when peeps aren't here love you all have a fab AF Wednesday

                    Hello everyone.

Most of the apartment is dried out, They replaced part of the underpad.

Glassie, get well soon. My daughter just had pneumonia and it took 6 weeks.

Hey Techie, how are you doing?

Hi Pauly, you are sounding good.

Rusty the traveler, I wish I had your energy.

                    Everyone have a good day.

::Glassie, I love you for picking up in the blankie fort especially when you're not feeling well. I sure hope these meds will knock out whatever bug you have. Maybe you just need to slow down a bit?

Rusty, the time change never even dawned on me with your traveling. I suppose at most it would be 2 hours or so. Lol, the mornings would be tough for me for sure!

Nora, I had a precancerous spot removed from my nose a few years ago. Unsightly for a bit, but I was just so happy to be rid of it. It could have been way worse. Sadly we are at that age and I watch my self constantly as I love the sun!

Pauly, hope your nephew is well enough to he home tomorrow. My Lucy would clean the floor in that blankie fort, no problem!

Skendall, how are you feeling? Is the pain any better? I'm glad things are getting dried out in your place. How is Peggy?

Went for my mammo today. Had to be done. I'm hoping that I don't get a call back this year, that's just so nerve wracking. Hubby sent me a text at work today asking me how my day was going. I answered that I had just had my mammo and auto correct changed it to "just had my man, back at work. Doing pretty good." Well, he sends me another text "r u ok, do u want me to pick u up. I didn't know what he was talking about just told him I was fine, a little busy. Not until I got home and he showed me how the text had come through, we were laughing so hard!! Darn auto correct. We needed a good belly. Anyway, hope your all doing ok. Wishing us all a quiet AF night. Headed to a neat tidy blankie fort:love::love:

Liz, I dictated something on my phone to my son-in-law one time and sent it before realizing that Siri had heard "We had sex on the car"! I can't imagine now what my real message was
