      I think it is probably too early for hospice but having her evaluated is a good step. :heartbeat:

        Absolutely. She's so lucky to have a lovely home to live in at this time and people who love and care for her so much.

          Funny you should mention hospice Nora. I was talking to a friend yesterday whose father suffers from dementia and he is on hospice. I don't think it means the end is near at all. I do know they give you help. There is a social worker, they shower him several times a week and help with dressing, feeding, whatever. There is an allotted time for them to be at the house and you can run out and do errands and such while they stay at home with the patient. My girl friend says it's helped them tremendously. I don't know what the criteria is. Keep us posted?

              Happy Wednesday. Where is everyone? I hope you're all doing ok? Keeping myself out of trouble. Nice out tonight so I took Lucy for a walk. Ann is on vacation next week and it seems they hired a temp to fill in for us on Monday:egad: I will have to train her on Friday. Wondering how that will work and if she'll have log ins for all the computer systems. Got my fingers crossed this will work out. Wouldn't that be great! Anyway that's all my news.

                        Nora:hug:I think it is probably too early for hospice for your mom, but I think getting information might be helpful to you. Any luck on finding a care-giver to give you and your husband a break. Haha Viruca Salt. Classic scene from Willy Wonka: Violet picking her nose and saying, "spitting is a nasty habit," and then WW says, "I can think of a worse one." Love that movie. :-)

                          Nora - There are different stages for hospice. Some patients won't go through all stages. The level of care will be assessed by medical professionals, you and hubs. Depending on the level of care needed, a team will be arranged. I believe its a wise decision you've made for all of you. Thinking of you and sending prayers.

                            Hope everyone enjoyed their day! Baby Logan and Erin came by today and I got to hold my boy! He really is precious. Joe was here today helping hubby repair our fence. They worked and sweated hard!
