Morning folks, couple of days off work, planning some 'time-out' in the garden today, a great way of getting 'grounded', sorry couldn't resist. But as usual in the Irish mid summer it looks like rain, oh well on with a light rain jacket so.
I have been to the Galway races a few times Mr. G, it is a week long festival and needless to say lots of drink was taken, not a pretty memory.
In other news I got a call yesterday to confirm my job interview for tomorrow afternoon, down to a short list of three which is good. Not in the slightest bit nervous even though a lot is at stake and I am thinking this is a good thing and should be to my advantage as I can be usual charming self hahahahaha.....

Did you see what happened with the guy that built a freaking huge ark? Cost millions of dollars and could not be afforded and he went bankrupt I beleive. They are thinking of making it a museum as its hundreds of feet long. Interesting if you do a google/youtube search about it. First hit on google, but more has gone on. While millions visit the Ark, Grant County is sinking fast, trying to avoid bankruptcy, offering no amenities | NKyTribune Still makes me laugh a little. Actually they did after reading the article. Seems one guy started it and the county finished it and is nearly bankrupt.

"For a while, the county thought Noah’s Ark would save them". I wonder was the journalist keeping a straight face when tying this sentence out?

That damned ark is about 40 miles from my home Empy. It is a beautiful thing, but the guy who built it is crazy, and the money wasted, ugh. The state also gave a huge tax break to the business, so no sales taxes will be paid for years, and just about a month ago, the owner sold it to a non-profit for $1 USD, to avoid paying any taxes on any business profits as well. That one is going to court. And as the business struggles, the owner blames atheists and non-belivers for praying to have it fail. Umm, atheists don't pray, lol.

I am strangely thrilled to have a new knitting pattern to read and work on tonight.

Yep you are right Benji, chances are if someone is on the site and reading these threads then they may think there is something amiss in their relationship with alcohol. It is completely anonymous here so please post, ask a question, or just vent, it might just make a huge difference to reach out and be heard, who knows we may even be of some help. We never judge, sure we are the last people in a position to do so.
