Hiya Starty and KTAB and good morning Troopers. Although I don't know how good of a morning it can be with news like this to wake up to. I figured something serious had happened to Mario by the way he suddenly disappeared but truthfully thought he had probably been killed in a motor accident, since he drove for a living.
This news has greatly saddened me. Mario was one of the first people, along with Jackie Claire who welcomed me to MWO and he was one of the most supportive people on this forum. Always a kind word and always good, sensible advice. He will be greatly missed. So sorry that his life ended the way it did. Rest in peace, friend Mario...

Just checking in to pay my respects in the place I met Mario. The news of his passing came up so randomly in my news feed last night as a Sunday Newspaper story. Could not get him out of my head all night. He was such a lovely, gentle man, I still have all his messages on my phone as he used to check in with me on and off. thanks Oney and Starty.. so very sorry to hear that. I only knew him in the last year when he started posting again, but he was a lovely person. I wonder now if that was the new job he was talking about.

R.I.P Mario.
This saddens me so much. I believe he had turned his life around - was living a quiet life - but maybe his past caught up with him and he just couldn't get away from it.

Devasted....... Mario helped me beyond believe in the early days and even met up with me in Portugal. Always there for everyone, a heart of gold and someone who had endured such a hard life.
