Watched a good movie earlier with the kids; ONDINE - its on Netflix, Irish. Good cast - even has Colin Farrell falling off the wagon!

Jenny and her fiancé back from Turkey about 4:30am. Much as the pup is a sweetheart........fascinating to watch when he finds or hears something new...........but I'll be glad when he goes home.

The kids down here don't go back til the first week in Sept. August is exam result time.

They're back and in the spare bedroom so this morning is the last morning with Buddy.

The son and heir and his GF are off to Italy tomorrow. They have no pets or even plants to look after.

Phew! Glad you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn.

Yeah, it's always a bit weird when us Scots go back to school and England and Wales are still off for at least another 3 weeks. Upside is holidaying in early July is a wee bit less busy than early august. (As news about the problems in Skye showed - I was there in early July, was busy, but nothing like what it's been liked at the very height of the season). Downside is .... uhh.. we're back at school already ... and Xmas is such a long way away...!!

So, first day back was ok... great to see some colleagues. I'll be working between two schools, so have to go to the other school tomorrow, never worked there before, so will be the new kid on the block. Don't like that, but fact is, that's what it is - hopefully will be fine once we have a couple of weeks done

So, the sprogs are back at school tomorrow. In the morning I will be at the new school I am working at. Was there today, head teacher said, I won't be doing anything in the morning, so no need to plan... Then back to my old haunt only to find I'd not been timetabled for anything until Thurs PM.... I could be like, WTF?! But, it's the first week back... and more important to get settled into a rhythm, rather than stress about not having to do anything. Tho it would be good if i had my own class for like the whole week/year. But whatever i'm doing, I gotta job and I'm getting paid.

Tomorrow is officially humpday.. it's nearly nearly the weekend

That's how I feel too. Can't believe how fast this summer went. Aren't you the organised one JC. Mind you I get everything done before December too and keep well away from shops during the silly season. Off west again tomorrow for few days, this time with daughter. Good luck with being back at school Running. You have a few weeks left Mary, enjoy. Still hate to think of school lunches ugh...
