Afternoon Army.
Just had a glass of water.
This may sound mundane - but it was a glass of cold sparkling S.Pellegrino. The thought struck me "why would anyone want anything else to drink"
A little dramatic I know - but I love drama
I'd never heard of S.Pellegrino 'till Mrs A mentioned it one day years ago on here saying she was sipping it on holidays and I SOOOO wanted to be her :egad: I was still struggling then and it stuck with me.

Just some musings ................ as you do of a Saturda....

Hi all, quick pop in, Saturday morn here.
Starting day 81. Feeling good and strong with my resolve, but the last 3-4 nights have been having dreams about drinking. Not full on drunks, but just a beer or two, and a glass of wine to sip. (ffs I never drink wine).
It's almost like I'm toying with the idea. Don't like the feeling. anyhoo...
Just finished watching Last kingdom, and thought about Vikings, do you recommend, JC. Most probably since you're giving it another go.

It seems the first season is complete, Semt, we seem too get shows in entire seasons all at once, but that hasnt been the practice of star trek. CBS; who knows. Evening all. You all dolling yourselves up for a night on the tiles?! I'm slouching - I did go for a run mind you, and to the shops for errands - and about to watch some foreign programme that demands my full attention to read the subtitles.

@MrVervill - good to see you here. Dreams are funny wee buggers... I had a dream last Sunday night about an ex who had reddish hair, and another dream that same night about a lovely lass I knew (who many years ago I had a soft spot for) who also has reddish/strawberry blonde hair. All this talk about Star Trek and would you believe its Gene Roddenberry's birthday today. He'd have been 96 if he'd still been with us.

The drinking dreams will come and go. Haven't had one for a while but the damned relief when you wake up and realise its a dream is just wonderful.

Doing a bit of a clear out today, dug out one of those message chair pads. Are they any use? I used to hate it (hence its attic home), but I'm kind of enjoying it now.
Yes, dreams are mad. Drinking dreams are totally normal mr V. Only 2 nights ago I dreamt I was pressured into tasting some rare whisky. It was gross and I was disgusted with myself . Then I woke up, yay!
Arsie, your single! Great, we haven't had love stories here in ages :love:

@Mr Vervill - Great job on 81 days!! And I hate those drinking dreams. But, thank goodness, it's only a nightmare and it didn't happen. It used to shake me up pretty badly when I had them.
