Hi everyone. I slept though the eclipse because I did not have the equipment, though I could have built a pin point sight. If my step daughter was around I would have.

Wierd, what was refer to as june bugs are now all over in late August. Insects that scratch their legs to make noise for mating. Absolutely annoying while trying to mend broken sleep. There is a constant buzz here now.

Sept 11th we're off to the caravan.

Yep, Arsie, of the fags 5 and a half months..........using an e-cig/vape......that does feel a bit like cheating.........the amount of money I've saved is staggering. Used champix and good old NHS stop smoking scheme...........and I now walk miles..........I can breath, that's the biggest change.........I just didn't realise how out of breath I was.

Well off for my last Tuesday at the volunteer place...........still doing Thursdays so I'm scouting round for something else.

Settling into school routine, just about. This new school I'm in (for first half of the week) are still tweaking timetables... it's gonna be a bit fly by teeth of my panties for some of it, methinks. My normal school (where i've been the last 2 years and now work the second half of the week, is a wee bit better with the timetable. I.e. I kinda know what i'm doing most of the time. But then this is school and things tend to change and shift on a daily basis. Keeping me heid doon and trying to focus on the kids.... terrors that some of them are.

Making sure Mr JC takes his full holiday entitlement this year. We normally get to November and he's still got a fortnight to take and he just mooches round doing stuff and love him as I do he really, really get on my nerves.

Don't worry about the new school and seeming lack of order - it'll all settle soon. When you get used to it - you won't even notice the ambiguity - and take it in your stride.
I'm trying to apply that to myself and the new job - old fashioned processes and the waste of time doing stupid things annoys the shit out of me
