Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

My son & DIL got me hooked on playing emoji blitz an app on my phone. The cool thing is that I can use the emoji's and send them in my texts!

Catch - nice that you look young. I don't. LOL But, I feel young. Well, not today. But, sometimes I feel young. :rotlf: Hubby was the type that didn't show his age for years...he's 4 years older than me so it was extremely annoying at times when he looked younger than I did. :harhar:

Has anyone heard from TMH? I'm so glad they got out when they did.
My brother checked in on some relatives. My cousin that is in Florida was boarding up his windows. I guess they didn't have to evacuate? My other cousin that survived a tornado recently (it destroyed the next door neighbors property) was getting things back in order. Other relatives on the coast.
It is truly heartbreaking the amount of devastation that is going on all over right now. Maybe it is not more than usual but it seems that way to me. Wildfires, flooding, earthquakes, hurricanes and on and on.

Rusty - glad that you are going to take a few days to do sightseeing when you are in Vancouver.

Liz - did you get baby time today? I get a smile just thinking of it.

Wildflowers - how are you doing with all the fires?

Mr V - I need to go check on you too.

I do wish that AG would check in.

                            Hello - I’m baaaaack!

I had a burst of energy today and despite this constant ***** cough, I may have gotten a little bit carried away. OK - perhaps a LOT carried away. I have a friend staying with me at the moment and she kept begging me to sit down but I was like a woman possessed. At least now the house is spotless, my office looks fab, and we won't be running out of soup any time soon. And I guess I’ll sleep well tonight and it will either kill or cure me!
Nora – I’m thinking we need a special “chatty Nora” emoji. :hmms:

But more seriously - and I'm sorry if my chatting was very frivolous under the circumstances - yes Nora, the devastation everywhere at the moment is terrible and heartbreaking and definitely much greater than usual. And sadly, as always, it seems to hit places and people that are the most poor and vulnerable and least able to recover.

You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues

I didn't come this far to only come this far.

Smilie List - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

The V-Bulletin version SR uses is different from the one MWO is using so the "coding" with each image won't work on MWO. But if you want to use any of them, just "save picture" to your device and then put it in your post using the "picture frame" button.

scoregood.gif Yep, it appears to still work...
