Well done Jenny, that's brilliant! maybe she should have taken Buddy!:happy2:
decided not to chase my tail today and 'keep everyone happy'.. was nice.

I was thinking earlier, Sunday night was often my worst night for booze, in that I would try to curb it, having work the next day, but that was head wrecking because the hangover from saturday would knock around until it was a respectable hour to have a glass of wine.. too early, I was heading for another rough Monday. Too late, Id be on edge, cranky etc.. It was so complicated and time consuming.. so good thats its a memory.

If she's had Buddy with her she still be going............he has to stop to sniff every blade of grass.. try and catch a falling leaf then stop for no good reason just to sniff the air.

Oh God, I remember those days when I was begging for Sunday lunch time to come round so could uncork a bottle to have while strirring the gravy.............the kids must have wondered why they were getting roast beef and Yorkshire pudding at 10am

Just got rid of Jenny,Buddy & Chris (the fiance's name got sick of typing fiance all the time).......

There'll Molls sunning herself somewhere foreign somewhere that's near where Satzuma's gone and we'll be getting wet..........and I don't care. You often see on FB pictures of remote houses asking if you'd give up all your gadgets for a million dollars........there's somedays just the bus fare and some groceries would do me.........oh and my knitting.......and a book or three.

Just about got the car packed so we'll be there well before dark.

Think we've got enough for 6 nights

                    howdy folks,

quick fly-by... back at school and suddenly home-from-work simply means work-at-home (aka PREP :egad

Uncle is doing ok - out of ICU - but still has distended stomach and will obviously need to operate - they don't want to until the distended stomach appeases a bit.

                        Hi everyone, :heartbeat:
IamMary, I did a half marathon when I was going into my 3rd year into sobriety, I thought I could never do it, but with all the training and support, I got from the girls I ran with, it was amazing what you can achieve. I wanted to give up, but I didn't want to let down the people that sponsored me for Great Ormond Street hospital charity. The atmosphere on that day I felt was on a natural high it felt so good.

Good morning everyone. Lovely morning here. Got up at 6 and walked the doggies before work. Not as energetic as you runners but it is lovely to get out and you feel great afterwards.Well done on the half marathon Catch. Nice to have something to aim for Mary, it motivates you when you start feeling a bit lazy. Nest not empty yet, she's leaving next weekend but her sister is coming about 2 weeks after that so revolving doors lol. Hope all the holiday makers are enjoying themselves. Big wave to everyone else.

How rude of me :egad: And here's me and my name sake (me MWO sunday name, not Arsie) and I didn;t even says a WELL DONE to yer lass. No mean feat that, so big thumbs up and lashings of extra ice cream . Agree with catch and rusty that there's nothing like an aim to get you focussed. Mary - did you join the running club? Hope so. Let me know when you want to head out for that Sunday stroll!

Just a quickie, so to speak, here. Nout to report really. Apart from that I awoke before four and could;t get back to sleep - which leaves me starting the day always feeling short tempered. But on the bright side, I is now about to go to bed again :yay:
