    Good Morning, and happy POETS' Day!

    I am off to my nephew's wedding in Oregon-on the other side of the country for me...so I will just say "thank you" for always making me feel welcome on this thread.

      oh enjoy the wedding Rusty -- just in from work -- crikey it is quiet in these parts lately.. not too much reading back required!!!

      very busy today so sore head and sore feet - just put them up right now and going to chill at the tele till bedtime - still not sleeping well and Joe's alarm clock making beep noises every 20 mins last night did NOT help.. so it's being thron (very Dublin word... apologies to non-Dubs --- 'thrown' is the correct 'speak ;-) ) out the winda tonight!!!
      c'mon there now folks -- bitta goss.... or craic??

        Most exciting thing today bought some more wool......its hat knitting time season.
        I'm watching the latest series of Versailles.........its wonderful.

          Loved Versailles - not least the style - loved all them Louis' - exciting lives! Yeah may get into knitting again for all these babies - it's that or learn Latin - a life long ambition.....

            No gossip here Molls.. Bought 2 pillows and more black socks today. I think I could buy a packet of socks a week and there would still be a shortage on Monday. The washing machine will probably blow up any day now and it will rain odd socks for a week.

              Learn Latin while you knit Molly
              My dad and mother in law both had good Latin back In the day, but there's not much opportunity to use it these days!

                That's why I want to learn it - so I never need to do anything sensible with it - learnt a wee bit at school and loved the way it made sense! Ach I'm sure its only a notion! Might stick to the knitting

                  (in English ..........we should all learn Latin again and converse like wise people)

                  I confess I used google translate. I only did a year of it and if I'm honest would sit there thinking............will this lesson never end over and over.

                  Mr JC's got an A-level Latin. Did it from 11-18 years old.

                              Great news on the bike. Never got round to watching Versaille............I started reading a book about the Plantagenets and Henry V11 rise to king..........its one of Anne O'Brien's.........mixes fiction and facts.

                                I love when they make a good story outta history -- can always read the true facts anytime -- still waiting for Hilary Mantel's next one -- will prolly have to read Wolf Hall etc again at this stage.. now off to get A bike -- apparently there may be an alternative -- mmmmm - laters xx
