Huge congrats Sunbeam!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Thanks, friends! I can't describe how much I appreciate your responses on this thread and all the support I have received here, beginning with my join date in 2008. Truely I live the life of gratitude now, grateful for every day and the opportunities it holds.
I still do have that lurking feeling of maybe I can have a drink now, even though I don't want to drink and know that it's a really bad idea for me. So I just keep getting up and being grateful every day, reading and posting here to inspire me and remind me of the work I will always need to do to stay sober. My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12.
