Hi Guys

Back on day 1 again.

Just turned the coffee machine on at work - mines a double espresso, Jacks

Embarrased to be back at the beginning and a bit scared of what the future holds... but I'm here and I can't promise anything but I intend to be here for the long haul.

TONY!!!! It is SO good to see you back my man!!! was thinking of you so many times -- but you know -- we've all been there -- doing well and then -- BAM -- disappearing from here etc etc.. and nothing or nobody is going to get you back on that wagon 'cept yourself -- and today you are doing it -- don't worry about embarrassment -- ffs -- you wanna talk about embarrassment?? we could start a thread and I'm sure between us in the Army ALONE we could probably post 100's of different 'little incidents' -- embarrassment is deffo not necessary round these parts!!!!
and don't be worrying about the future either -- clichés are clichés for a reason... and that is because they are true -- and today you just have to look at today - or this hour - or this minute - -and celebrate every damn minute you don't pick up a drink - cos you are a hero coming back -- it is shagging hard..... we are all here for you - no matter what happens or where you are in your head -- WE'VE BEEN THERE --
Now -- come and talk when you want to - but stay tight - you will need support at the beginning -- (all the way through but 'specially at the beginning) -- and a bit further down the road when your head is stronger and clearer - then you can think through the why's and wherefore's -- just today be gentle with Tony -- drink water - build bridges if they're necessary - and GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK xxx

Hi all

Well day one has been really hard. I've nearly got through it - and I will. I haven't written the letter yet. The last customers have just left the restaurant and this is the REALLY difficult bit - staff drink at the end of a good shift!

I have my apple juice back on full flow again - but it's hard watching others. Not so much the customers...just the staff. SO I'm going to cash up now and then go home and write the letter 0 I need to do this to try and make sense of things and why it all went so wrong again...no pity party - I just need to get some understanding of myself.

Thanks for all the comments today - it's great to know who you can turn to.

I will get some rest - tomorrow is my first day off since Easter - I have a few things to do but will have most of the day to myself - and if I use it to catch up on the paperwork then at least next Monday can be a true day off...we close Mondays from now through to Christmas and then from New year until spring.

I did write the letter but I have posted it in the Nest as that seemed the most appropriate place for it.
