Thank you, lovelies. Not a huge surprise but still very sad.
In work today so I'll get them to smother me with hugs.

There's plans for a big New Year party there.......and I've got Mr JC signed up as a driver. We do sweet eff all on New Year's Eve apart from the lad next door being our first foot and Mr JC being his .........reckon it'll be good craic and a bit of a dance.

:hug::hug: to you all.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Early check in.. have to go out, in the cold, and the rain. and the wind. and drive for ages and back home again. probably in the middle of the night.
(I really have to be pushed out the door, then I usually have a grand time, but the idea of going 'out' is not appealing.)

New Years eve party JackieClare ! Is that in Work? Ive never been to a party where no one drinks (well, aside from the bouncy castle types).. that would be some craic!

later..

Thank you for the condolences, Dill, Mr V, Rustletops.

Yep at our the place I work IamMary..........just talking to a few of the people who use the place and they're dead keen and there's been a lot of good feedback on FB page we've got.

Have to admit back in the bouncy castle days there was usually a box of wine supplied by whichever yummy mummy's darling child's birthday it was.

Tbh hated bouncy castles and soft play.......and don't mention ball pools.........ended up telling my two that naughty children piddled in them.......which was pretty near the truth.

Evening..
Just had an argument with son over house rules.. sigh. He's normally happy go lucky, but a bit hormonal at the moment. Ive a long way to go before Im out of these teenage years, so yiz better stick around.. the words 'drive me to drink' spring to mind metaphorically of course!

Is that a more UK thing? dont know about the rest of you, but wine was rarely produced at kids parties when they were small. Although it was never a thing to entertain the adults - instructions always clear, drop at 2, pickup at 5 (ie: feck off out of my house pronto).
