Evening..
Just had an argument with son over house rules.. sigh. He's normally happy go lucky, but a bit hormonal at the moment. Ive a long way to go before Im out of these teenage years, so yiz better stick around.. the words 'drive me to drink' spring to mind metaphorically of course!

I found the teenage years a bit of a nightmare tbh - but without a doubt its the phase of child rearing that requires parental sobriety - far too much can be missed - AND the judgement of youth - despising looks at elders with a few taken - despite the fact that they had prolly just returned from knacker drinking on the beach !!!!

Good morning everyone. Awake bright and early. Very dark but I don’t hear any wind or rain, we are promised storm Brian. Hopefully the East coast will avoid the worst of it. Hi Satz,hope all ok.? Yea Mary, kids parties were always just for the kids. Mind you I used to always clean the house for the nosy parents. Madness as the little darlings were about to wreck the place.

Just baked scones -- so THERE!!!! god yeah - the house used to get it's spring clean for the parties - nonsense!!! wouldn't do it now if I had kids -- the self-confidence of a sober cow haha!!!
Poor aul Tabbers -- don't mind her -- tell her it's worse than childbirth -- give her a right good laugh:hahaha:

I'm orf to work too Tabs -- with my scones in my filthy little mitt -- storm Brian has brought lovely sunny skies and high temps --- jeez we just don't seem to 'get' this hurricane shit over here at ALL!!!!

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]............we used to hire a soft play place while up until they were about 6/7 and quite a few mums or dads would stay just in case one of the the little darlings came a cropper. Could be a Brit thing also depends who was driving. I led the rebellion against party bags after one little snotbag asked for his when he arrived as he didn't like parties and was going straight home. After that they got a bit of cake and a balloon and no one batted an eyelid.

Jenny was a teenager from the age of 2. Very bold with the answering back and the slamming doors. The son & heir was very laid back and still is.

I once turned my car into a bouncy castle after a big night, rolled it good. Luckily no one was hurt, just my pocket, as i'd just purchased it, and no insurance. You'd of thought I had a clue that drink was a problem, nope, took another 35 years to figure it out.

I once turned my car into a bouncy castle after a big night, rolled it good. Luckily no one was hurt, just my pocket, as i'd just purchased it, and no insurance. You'd of thought I had a clue that drink was a problem, nope, took another 35 years to figure it out.

Think we did 4 miles round Tesco, yesterday..... hate that shop but we had some money off coupons.

The son and heir and his GF are in Rome for 4 days.........they were in Italy earlier this year and only had a quick look around so they're doing the full tourist thing this time.

Morning ladies, I didn't do 4 miles anywhere yesterday but am hoping to get out and power clean the deck in a while. My illness has shifted from my head onto my chest which doesn't help my asthma but sure I will soldier on as us men always have to (tee he hee, runs off to hide)
