    Super Sober Shout Out Sunday 8th October 2017

    I'd like to see a big SUPER SHOUTY OUTY SUNDAY from members who have been here a while, those just starting out again and those just starting out for the very first time..........the time of the week to use your very own loud hailer.


    SHOUT IT LOUD AND SHOUT IT PROUD AND STAY STRONG AND KEEP THINKING POSITIVE ONE AND ALL AND LET'S GIVE OUR BEST TOGETHER

    Don't be shy and give it a try...........remember each and everyone one of us here started with a day one!!!!!

              Second month of my sixth year. Enjoying life!
              My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                  999 days of freedom, I will reach an important goal that I set for myself tomorrow. My last AF goal is that I die a happy, sober man!
                  Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
                  Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
                  Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

                    That makes 3 years, 10 months and 6 days for me. I am extremely grateful.

                    Stirly! Can't wait to celebrate that big milestone.

                    Cowboy - Way to go. I remember when Ava and I vowed to meet each other at the 1,000 day mark. It seemed so far away, but one day at a time we made it. Congratulations.

                      I am real thankful that my dream of me deciding to have a beer now and then (but never did do it but was close) was just a dream. Yes I still have the cravings for beer now and then. But I know I would not be able to stick to 1-2 every now and then so I chose not to go for it.

                      I have been sober for 6 years now and not going to blow it for one beer.

                      I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                      Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                      Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
