Morning lovelies.

Watching Deep Purple brought back a load of memories.......I actually saw Black Sabbath the same week.............50p for a ticket..........affordable at the time for most of us..........my Mum had gone back to work so on top of my £1 a week pocket money , I got another quid for cleaning the bedrooms and vauuming the stairs...........I was rich . We queued up to use the public telephone at school to book our tickets...........no deposit.......just picked 'em up when you went into town.

Quick come round to my house...........its tidy......every thing's in the place it should be. A very rare phenomenon.........we'll not be able to find anything but it looks nice

Mr JC's got the day of on Thursday.......coincides with our 32nd wedding aniiversary so we're going to IKEA for our annual buying stuff we don't need. Walk through their doors and it brings upon this overpowering urge to buy candles, storage jars and a plastic cactus. .............and a door mat.

and 200 white napkins

and a couple of tea towels

and meatballs

and those crunchy cracker bread things that can take a tooth out

and loganberry juice

and another flour sieve or potato masher

and more corn on the cob holders.

Honestly we've got enough paper napkins to start our own catering company.

Had a very happy Jenny on the phone last night. She's actually been teaching classes. Did some year 12's (16 & 17 year olds) and year 5's (9 & 10) year olds. She's liking the 10 year olds better at the moment as they're more curious and willing to ask questions.

Her best mate is due to have twins any day now.........the friend's at 38 weeks and has gone beyond blooming to ballooning. She's got 2 kids under 4 already.:egad:

Rusty, shame on you.. 5.30am, soooo lazy

So silly season has started. Party plans and booze ups everywhere. Someone was telling me today about their plan for a 6 month dry period in 2018. That could have been me not so long ago. Although 6 months would have been too ambitious, Id plan for a sober week
and fail by wednesday - but Id justify it all in my head, so that would be fine.

Any plans for parties, gatherings? I still gather my mental plans...

Had to get a new phone today, as the dropped in the gravy one just wasn't working. When I say not working I could still text and stuff but I was getting an echo when I rang someone or they rang me............t'was doing me head in. :nutso:

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]...........I'm not sure what to think about people that say things like I'm giving up for ???? days or months.....why don't they try controlling their drinking that would open their eyes.....it annoys the feck out of me the charity no drinking months treating the beggars that do stop for that month as heroes.....grrrrrrrr.........sure its raising money for charity, but why don't they get off there arses and help at a food bank, or a charity shop, animal sanctuary for a month.
.............oh just on my soap box there............hang on I'll just climb off......excuse the creaky knees.

Just got the New Year's Eve do at work...........its a dry place so I'll have no problems. Mr JC is coming as its not a bother for him.
