Got my car back yesterday eve. £90 later for new springs. Starting to get a bad feeling that it's gonna be giving me gip from now on, as had to fork out £90 last months for tyres also. Will see.

Morning ladies, hi Sweetpea, you are up bright and early this morning, well actually it is still dark but you know what I mean.
I am feeling more human again, probably something to do with the high dose steroids the doctor prescribed so planning on finally getting out and doing some of the long list of odd jobs, weather is supposed to be nice. Not as warm as Morroco I bet, well for some eh.
I do wish our MIA army chums would post, irrespective of their being in a good or bad place right now, we have all been on the roundabout over the years.

Good Saturday morning! Have a great holiday Molly, enjoy the sunshine. Sweetie sorry about the £90 cars can become a money pit. Glad you are feeling better KTAB , wise words to those MIA. Hiya Mary I also love the smell of turf fires but the work involved to dig it out of the land would put me off.
Off to run a 10k race at Arley Hall at 9.30 conditions are perfect for a run-- drizzle and no wind.

Morning folks! HATE when there's something wrong with the car - we've had TWO slow punctures now for about 2 years -- keep getting them fixed - and because I drive so little the tyres are like new so don't even have the option to buy new ones -- wrecks my head!

Good morning loverlies.
I was lying in bed this morning feeling sorry for myself . Got up eventully and mooched for a while.
All that's wrong in my life was at the forefront of my mind. - THEN a thought struck me - I'M SOBER. I am no longer fighting that particular demon. Thank FECK !!
I immediately felt better & grateful.
It's so easy to wallow, isn't it?
Then I remembered my dear friends here on MWO and how happy I was when posting here for so many years.

So I'm back inkele: I will try not to be so self-centered in future !!!

Mary - good thing you got that "rescue remedy" cleared up. I'm amazed that it contained that much alcohol.

Sweetpea - great to see you. I think you should have had some warning about that training. It would have shaken up even the strongest of peeps.

At work today as usual for a Saturday. Not much going on so a chance to catch up on my bookkeeping and filing, not that I'm planning to do much. Lazy cow that I am.
