Hello Army Friends and Happy POETS Day (thanks for the great acronym, G-Star),
techie...I will be praying that these treatments work for you. You bring hope and strength to MWO, and we are all in your corner. Sending lots of love to you and thanks for checking in.:heartbeat:

My aunt called me last night to wish me a safe flight home and I told her gently that I thought she violated the anonymity rule of AA by disclosing that her friend, who was interviewed on TV, was someone in her AA group. She felt very badly, and admitted that I was right. She is leading her AA meeting today so they will be discussing it. Her friend usually comes to this meeting so I will be anxious to hear the outcome.

It has been a horrendous week. My client's boss has been with us the whole time and yesterday, he physically confronted an employee yesterday. He has been verbally abusive to me and I feel so sorry for the people who work for him. OMG do I want to go home!!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Evening rusty and Mr V and all to come - seems to be a run on the pink shirts lads :congratulatory:
Bit of a week for you rusty well all I can say is TGIF ???!!!! I think the anonymity that AA requires can sometimes be hard to keep - so easy to not be diligent but I'm sure there was no malice involved I also think the further folk get from their addiction the less important anonymity becomes - I'm not long in recovery but tbh I really couldn't give a rat's arse who knows - if I was falling into a bottle every night I certainly would want secrecy

It is great to see the lovely techie round the board's and I hope Mexico proves fruitful xxxx

Got a pink shirt too, but just letting youse know it's got blue and black lines running down and across it, so it's not actually pink. I'm feeling.....um.....yeah, i'm ok. Thanks.

Have a beaut weekend everyone.

Hiya JC. I sure like working with people. I already work a little in the mental health area which i began soon after i arrived here and got sober, and I do come into contact and work with young blokes a lot of the time. Am putting together a music/mental health program to run, involving recording musicians and making tunes, so this may incorporate that idea too. Thanks for the thought.

x2 for our friend Techie.

Regarding being verbally abused in a workplace situation, especially by a person of seniority, call it out for what it is, bullying plain and simple and nobody should have to put up with that.

Hindsight is wonderful - enjoy the crafts - always jealous of anyone who can craft anything - one of wee eabha's favourite cuddlies is a gorgeous knitted teddy someone too kind knitted for her - you know who you are ;-)
