This person sounds wonderful, Molls.
It was one of those things where the world and her family say they're coming and only two turn up.............never mind they're the ones that missed out. The woman running it brought some vintage knitting and crochet books................anyone fancy a knitted bathing suit or swimming trunks for Chrimbo?
One of the lads who works in the coffee bar came through ( nothing was going on in there)....... learnt how to knit and he did three lines and thought it was mint. The other lassie there is making a scarf............never picked up a knitting needle in her life...........did two rows and she was off.

I'm still embroidering this pennant/flag thing that's going to hang upstairs.............but next time I'm going to learn how to crochet.

Who would have thought a howling with laughter could be had with a few scraps of wool, embroidery thread and a pot of tea would be a fab way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

You lucky thing. The away day and the weekly craft thing. Just hope this new group doesn't fizzle out like one we had earlier in the year did. Its only monthly for the time being.

Other day got a 4 calls for Dixons the Gas fitter............explaining each time that yer woman had the wrong number and it was a private house that she was ringing................on the 5th call...............I wish, I wishl..............I'd just said .................sure we'll be round Monday at 1pm.

Finished Mary and en route to grand nieces and yes the classes are a howl. Group of middle aged woman and wool, you can’t beat it :heartbeat::heartbeat:

Molly-so glad you are enjoying your vacation. Sounds heavenly.

Thanks so much for your support regarding the a-hole Operations Manager at my client's company. I reported him to the COO, who immediately removed him from his role as the leader of the project that I am assessing. I lead our closing meeting and delivered a scathing report about this guy in front of his employees, his boss, and his boss's boss (the COO). He sat there like a whipped puppy and after the meeting, he ran out of the room with his tail between his legs. Ahhhh....feels great!:happy2:

LOL wish I could help you, Sweetpea. Good thing I own my own business and no longer have a 'boss" as I am a contractor. To go back to the workplace, sit in a cubicle, and look at the same damn people every damn day...I could not do it anymore!

On second thoughts the I might give the facial a miss...........I had one years ago and ended up looking like my face ended up the colour of boiled beetroot :egad:..........I'll swap that for an eyebrow wax or threading.

S&H was round for a wee visit. Proudly telling us how he'd cleaned the oven and his latest handy hint of using a dishwasher tablet to clean the glass doors............we don't have a dishwasher except Mr JC so he kindly brought two of his.
