Re: One Step at a Time - November 2017
Good Morning, Steppers!
abcowboy, thank you for the congratulatory e-card for Nursie!:happy2: Way to go, Nursie!!!:sohappy:
Today, I am doing paperwork and then off to shop with a friend. Just a relaxing day and it is supposed to rain so it will be something fun to do. :-)
Nora, to answer your question, no, I don't get trick-or-treaters because I live in a condo complex where most of the people are snowbirds, and also, there are NO kids living here.
techie, we are all worried about you. We haven't heard from you in ages so please check in!
Lizann, the pictures of your cruise were just fabulous. We miss you here, so please come back.
Big hellos to everyone else...happy AF Sunday!

I'm baaacckkk! LOL.
Nora-a 2-hr. nap sounds heavenly!
Pauly-Utah was OK. The weather was sunny and warm and it was pretty with the Fall colors. My new contact person is a nice young, Mormon guy, 25, who has only been married about a year-and-a-half, and his new boss was giving him a hard time about not having kids yet!:egad: Like it's any of his business anyway! So, rather than keep my mouth shut...because his boss was stupid enough to say this in front of me, I piped up and said, "Mark, John and his wife want to travel a bit before they settle down and have kids. They go away somewhere different every weekend and have great adventures. They have plenty of time." John smiled at me as if to say, "THANK YOU!!!!!!" Needless to say, Mark did not say another word about it in front of me. Hahaha!! Where did you live in Utah, Pauly?
A big yawn and good-night to dill, @GlassHalfEmpty, Mr Vervill, abcowboy and anyone I missed...I hope you are having a peaceful evening and morning (in Glassie's case. ;-) )

Good job on setting the boss straight Rusty haha,we lived in southern Utah, Cedar City then St.George,I liked it then but I'd never go back now,I didn't realize how sheltered I was living there,I like the diversity of people and religion here in Vegas,in UT it tends to be all one thing but maybe it's changed someI have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

Hey Pauly-wow, St. George...am I mistaken or aren't there a number of the polygamist compounds located there? I know your hubs isn't a polygamist though, haha. I can see why you would want some diversity...Utah is still mostly LDS. I don't know how they do it. Church on Sunday for them is over 3 hours long! :-( I noticed that flying from SLC back to Chicago, there were A LOT of people drinking on the plane in coach. Sorry to hear that Kell and Louie are sick. :-( Hope you don't get sick, too. Little kid germs are so powerful, though.
Ok, Pauly...I've been dying to tell you this. Do you remember me telling you about this woman (I don't care for this woman) who works for my client and went back to school to become a hairdresser? She's in her early 50s. I saw her in September and she was delighted that she had passed her course and she was a hairdresser...and I am looking at her with this choppy, butch job of a haircut, some of it is dyed pink and purple, and I'm thinking, "How in the hell did you pass that course? Did your instructor not tell you that you couldn't cut hair??"osteroops: Last year on Facebook, she posted that she was looking for volunteers to practice on before her exam....um, not sure what happened there. I've seen pictures of you and you have beautiful amazing hair...and olive skin....you little stinker. :-) LOL
Oh this time change is kicking my butt. I'm going to bed.
Nighty night, everyone!:heartbeat:

I agree that Pauly is beautiful.
I also agree about this time change. It is going to lead to a hard day tomorrow. :egad:"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Re: One Step at a Time - November 2017
You two made me blush first thing this morning haha time change was killing me last night! Had to stay up to watch Walking Dead, then told hubs I was going upstairs and he's like "it's 7 o'clock" I said I'm still on the old time, then I was watching a lifetime movie about some guy who killed his wife and I just barely caught the end my eyes were wanting to close on me,Rusty I think there was a lot of pligs (that's what we used to call them) around St George in the outskirts, they're weird, those clothes and I don't think they treat their women very good but I dunno they keep to themselves,Nora, maybe getting a walk in every day would help, just a short one at least,I was gonna invite you to a fitbit challenge this week,I was having Dottie Belle in the group but her fitbit broke so she's working on getting a new one but its a lot of fun to cheer each other on can't wait for Liz to get back and fill us in on her cruise, wishing all a nice AF Monday,,,no Mondayitis allowed!I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:
I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"

Happy Monday.
I do need to start getting exercise in. So I'll never be as good as Paulie, but at least I'll be moving. :victorious:"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Re: One Step at a Time - November 2017
Walking Dead comes on here at 9:00. I'm still watching it too, paulywogg! But at 9:00, it is competing with Poldark. Another favorite of mine. Last night I managed to stay up until 10, watched Poldark and recorded WD so tonight I will see it. Are you liking this season so far?
Rusty, did I mention to you that Sid Rosenberg is back on WABC New York? I think maybe I did. But anyway, talk about a come back kid, eh?!! I hope he succeeds and maintains his recovery long term. Do your business travels ever take you to New York?
Hello Mr. V and Nora!
Time change is messing with me. I was awake at 4:00 am and couldn't get back to sleep! I gave up and got up and started my day! I don't understand why that happened really but I definitely did not like it!!! I'm starting to feel it now...Dill
Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.
