      Crikey that must have caused a right hoo ha. My MIL is Catholic, FIL a prod........bet that caused a few ripples a 60+ years ago.

      Trees up, just the tinsel then I'm going to trade my red nose with Rudolph. Wonder if you can take Night Nurse during the day..........not shedding out another £6 for Day Nurse.........hotty bottle and tea will have to do.

        Thought we were on a day off here - Jilly et al have gone into town to meet her MIL to be with the baba... ah sure -- all the rest of them arrived... anyway was gaggin for grub so when they all headed off myself and Joe and Joey just WOLFED a big platter of steak and onions and sweet potato fries with peppered sauce -- omg it was gorgeous - seem to be hungry all the time in this weather

          Ooh an outing for Tilly. Don't think I took Jenny over the doors for weeks.

          Sounds delicious, Molls. Chicken dhansak here. Since the S&H bought Mr JC a curry recipe book for his birthday he's been cooking up some curries to die for. Nice hot one tonight should burn this cold off.

          Its snowed about an inch.........oop here in the north. Quite pretty for now but not for those getting to work in tomorrow.

          Didn't bother with the night nurse........I was sleepy enough. The tree's up and because I just chucked the decorations and tinsel at it, looks fantastic.

          My MIL has given me her knitting needles.......she can no longer knit because of arthritis. Tbh I was rather touched.

                Started to read back but my eyes are closing... not a free microsecond this weekend. Xmas party (getting easier) and all sorts.

                              Well Jacks - all good here.
                              Young Satz out from rehab 2 weeks and doing great.
                              Going to meetings & aftercare.
                              He's still living here with us as GF had enough and they need to build up the trust again. Can't say I blame her but he's here and really I can't help watching every time he comes in or goes out. I don't say a word but still watching.
                              Shows what we put our families through too I suppose.
