Impossible not to watch - but he should be alright the first few months- the effect should ripple out with aftercare- if I had had a vulnerable time it would have been the 2 year mark - getting cocky etc....

Re: Join the Army Against Alcohol-December 2017
Evening all!! Well it's about +10 degrees here this evening - about 15 degrees warmer than this morning - not exactly bbq weather but unexpected to be sure -- no snow here Jacks - and I love snow - wudda loved a wee bit but that damn Atlantic Ocean keeps us too moderate over this side of the Irish Sea -- so now - I'm awful tired - was training in someone today who knows literally EVERYTHING -- it is exhausting trying not to burst their bubble... and to try and explain that in fact Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are not in the adult poetry section...
Goodnight folks - and another wee call out to the waifs and strays of the Army???
Night night xxContentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Nighty night,Molls
Don't envy you having to train someone. I'm the worst teacher in the world.
Had to laugh at this though.
and to try and explain that in fact Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are not in the adult poetry section..
Think I'll paddle off as well...........we're behind on Peaky Blinders. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Howdy ho to y’all! Great to hear about the young’un Satz! He’ll get through all right me thinks!
Anyway, a question for Molls and Satz, y’all from North or South Ireland? I got a bit of a geography lesson from the elder farm boss’s wife when we were out for supper. She’s from Enniskillen, just got back from a 3 week visit with her family, and it’s the first I knew (or at least I can’t remember) that Ireland is divided in two!Last edited by abcowboy; December 11, 2017, 04:26 PM.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

We are from Southern Ireland - Enniskillen is in the North.
The country got divided when we made our pitch for freedom from British rule and the deal was to leave 6 of the 32 counties under British rule.
A lot are still bitter about that.Last edited by satz123; December 11, 2017, 05:02 PM.

Re: Join the Army Against Alcohol-December 2017
Morning ! Yup cowboy - as the others say the British snaffled what they perceived to be the wealthiest part of Ireland - just a small area up north - we in the army are all in the republic - ironically no one prolly wants the 6 counties now - causing Britain manys the heartache ( serves them right being greedy!!!!!) And as the republic is confident and prosperous now I reckon the 6 counties would drag us down - a lot of bigotry up there ( AND THAT IS ALL ONLY MY OPINION!!!!!!)Contentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Tell them you're the duty emergency librarian..............and have been called in you in because there's been a riot in the newspaper area. Then go hide in a coffee shop.
I've just made a spag bol and in all honestly the kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it. I make less mess doing Christmas dinner. It could be worse, I could be filing.
