Happy Friday! CJ is going home tomorrow, so my day was running errands with her. We did get manicures and she switched her phone to att so she will have service without any problems. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, hopefully she will takeoff before hand. I am working tomorrow for the first time in like ten days. I could get used to not working! Erin and Logan are coming over this evening and we will just have a quiet family night. A nice send off to a great two weeks.
Hope everyone is going well and keeping warm!

Nora, this is when we love you best, sweetie. I always start worrying when you go quiet....

Liz I know you'll miss CJ, but hopefully it makes you feel a bit better having proof that she can easily come back and forth.

Rusty I hope you find some balance in your life in 2018. You do work VERY hard, and it's good to see that you're finally having some small breaks. Also, you finally seem to be forgiving yourself for things from a long time ago, and accepting that your family has too. It's about time, young lady!!!!

My kidlings are both away. The elder 2 and a half are in Sydney, and the younger two are in Vancouver. So it's all quiet in this front. I had a lovely lunch with our MWO friend Rags yesterday. She's talked me into learning to Scuba dive later this year. She's a troublemaker, is that one! :rotlf:

Me too, Liz. That's why I'm doing it. I try to conquer at least one paralysing fear each year. :newhere:

Glassine, good for you! I did not conquer my fear of skiing in the alps, but I did it!! Now my boys want to go out west for a week in Utah in February :eek-new: I'm good!
Good morning. Early on a Saturday for me, but CJ left very early and I am headed to work. I am a little sad she left, but an so grateful for a fantastic two weeks with family:heartbeat:
Wishing you all a great AF Saturday

Hope everyone is having a happy morning/afternoon/evening.

Glassie - Please tell Rags hello from me. I think that is so cool that you are doing that together. Wish that I lived near you!! I've never even tried snorkeling except in our back yard pool. :rotlf:

Liz - sorry you had to work today. I'm so glad that you have had such a good visit with CJ. You are sounding so happy.

Dinner is ready - so I'll post this instead of waiting until later. I'll be back.........

Nora I'll tell Rags you said hello. She's a very accomplished Scuba diver (she's done about 180 dives) so although I'll obviously have to go through a proper school, she's going to mentor me through the process a bit.

Well I just LOVE NYE!!! It's one of the few days in the year I can spend the whole day cleaning without seeming too weird. I put away the tree, vacuumed, scrubbed all the floors, washed all the sheets and towels (including the clean ones) and now I have the rest of the day free to do some serious cleaning! :welldone:

Glassie, that is my plan for tomorrow and Monday! We will be watching Logan starting Tuesday, as Erin is going back to work. Crib is up, high chair assembled and playpen purchased. Now just to make room for everything!

Good morning loves! Glassie, we will be watching him daily for now. Erin doesn't want to put him in day care yet. We shall see how this works out for all of us. I am excited to have him, but I know how Erin feels leaving him and it breaks my heart.

Happy to have gotten through 2017. It has been a year like none other. Lots of ups and downs. I am so grateful to all of you here, for your support. I hope you know you have helped me through one of the darkest chapters of my life. I am happy to be celebrating sober:sohappy: as we begin 2018. Thank you all for being here. Wishing you all a happy, healthy, sober 2018! I love you all!
