Yep, it can get a bit lonely around here on weekends Nora, sometimes I think I’m the only one who is a homebody lol. Anyway, just about time for Bubba and I to head back home and let Hank out, we’ve been at the in-laws for our annual perogy making day. 36 dozen made and boiled, now to go home, freeze them, then vacuum pack them!

May I suggest a soccer ball or steel toed shoes?? lol
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

:rotlf: :harhar: you made me laugh out loud. I'll try the soccer ball.

I had to look up Perogy. Looks good. What a fun tradition.

My son called & they are coming over along with his SIL and kids. So, I'll have somebody to play with soon. :yay:

They gave us an ornament with the ultra-sound picture in it. I didn't know what it was and was saying thank you. Finally he told me to look at the picture again. The ornament says 'Our Little Present' and has the ultrasound picture. I started crying. I gave her a hug and couldn't let go or stop crying. Then I hugged my son and couldn't stop crying. So happy for them. So, I have to keep this big secret for another month. :heartbeat: Thank goodness you all will let me safely talk.

I saw your earlier post...so sorry you felt deserted here....so glad abcowboy checked in. My mom and I were working as volunteers all day for adults who are dually afflicted with deafness and blindness. What an isolated, sad life most of these people have...:-( So glad they look forward to the annual Christmas party. I've been busy with getting ready for the party. Night, night. I am exhausted.

I'll try to check in tomorrow. :-)

It was funny how you came coming back… I have done the same thing many times. LOL. Well I am guessing you are going to sleep well tonight. Ha ha! How clever and sweet of them to take a picture of the ultrasound and put it in an ornament. Truly a wonderful Christmas gift! So happy for you!
