You'll never guess who was at the party last night..........so I'll tell you. Pinkie, she's 5 and a half years sober and single.
Spent the grand total of £3......it was a non-alcoholic ginger wine hot punch......and the coffee was free. It was heaving, live music downstairs (pretty good), disco upstairs...........needless to say we stayed downstairs. My old friend from school came with us..........sadly her brother died from alcohol related problems aged 62 and after she was telling us how much she wished he'd found the freedom we have.
Got to get some fund raising ideas going as we need another £20K to keep the place open for another year.It could be worse, I could be filing.
