Half term is next weekend. Kids at our school get an extra 5 (yes, 5) days off due to the move into the new school. Us teacher-slaves gotta do the moving/unpacking ...:cuss:

Must say, even now Im terrible for fretting about boozy occasions (like your doing now RC) and then they really are fine in the end. Mostly better than fine, I enjoy it. Well, of late anyway.

Maybe its because January, but I'm feeling extremely grateful this week too [MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION]. 100 times easier to cope with everything now.

Good Morning!

Off to help my mom pack as we are moving her into an assisted-living facility next week. You don't realize how much crap someone has until you have to move them. :cuss: I
know this is the right decision and I have finally accepted it. I am grateful to be sober and of use to her. Can't imagine doing this whilst drinking.

I'll never throw a photo out.........they're history........although I did shred my photos from my first marriage.........not something I wanted to remember .
There's sometimes I look at houses for sale that cost millions.............and I'll bet my right hand if I could ever afford one and buy one it would be filled with clutter within a week.

Afternoon. Crazy busy few days. Was at Russell Watson concert last night. Had meal beforehand with a glass of water so very enjoyable being totally present. It's hard lovely Rusty - cos we are clearing out our garage - all my mum's 'stuff' went in there after she died.. couldn't bring myself to look at it at the time - so now having a bit of a look - and it's awful hard -- sending loves sweetheart xx

Well JC's carrier service is now in business for the next 36 hours...........as long as you're just wanting stuff moved from Chester to York. Bloody great transit van on the drive. Mr JC and Jenny are off to pick up some stuff from the Aunt's house tomorrow as its sale is finalised on the 6th Feb.
Jenny's gone out for a meal with her pals from up here, promised she wouldn't be back late...........one moment while I :hahaha:

Good Sunday Morning troopers.

Understand many of you will still be in land of the nod. Been up for a bit - down a bit of reading... now procrastinating with laptop in me bed... half-wishing there was something interesting in the news i could read to keep me here (or keep me from doing other stuff I could / should be doing)... so will procrastinate instead by heading out to hike up a hill.
