Well with regard to ol b*tches at work.
MrS told me weeks ago - give her enough rope - she'll hang herself.

I think she may have last week - she forgot who she was talking to and was so rude and offhand to our manager - the Nursing Home owner.
The manager ( even though they are friends ) was so taken aback she rang me to ask was she hearing things.
I said - cool as you like - " welcome to my world" :haha:

I feel the tide turning .......

In a previous job I used to deal with a large number of elderly people. You'd often hear someone say, as they struggled with something, "ooh don't get old"...My answer was always "It's better than the alternative!"

Hope the teeth and ears are recovering well, Starts and JC.

I'm on the late (Last man standing) shift today so not in until 4pm and probably not home until around 1.30 in the morning.

Morning Army! I was once talking to an elderly man about ageing. He looked at me like I was nuts and said, "Golden years my ass! Getting old really sucks!" Tried not to laugh, but not very successfully! I really enjoy working with the elderly, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's. You just never know what they will say or do....keeps me on my toes, and entertained all at the same time.

Thanks Satz. Not that easy! I’ve called them and left a message. Fingers crossed. Called all the local vets, other rescue places.. there are a few around, but we are waiting for house inspections or the shelters to open (they are all volunteers). She wants a young cat, ideally a kitten!
