    Ok that's not true. That was complete negativity. I am not drinking because there is no happiness or not in it.

      You're not drinking because you don't drink, Friend. And now that we're not addled by alcohol, we know that for us, it only makes things worse. I am sorry you're having a tough time, though. :hug:

        Ok - I am out of my pity party. Thank you all for putting up with me. Thank you for all the love. :heartbeat: I need to read back - I haven't read all your posts yet.
        Anyway, I obviously have been having some issues. Don't know why. Just couldn't seem to see the happy. I am so thankful that I don't drink because it is during a depressive cycle when I get the f***k its. I had just decided that I was going to have to talk to the doctor about it when the dark cloud began to lift. :indecisiveness: I get so mad at myself for being like this because I am so blessed. But, being mad at myself didn't help. I'm just glad to have the dark cloud lifting. :yay:

          YAY - Happy Nora's back!!!
          Don't be down on yourself for feeling bad, honey. Just because you have blessings in your life doesn't mean you don't also have challenges. Sometimes the scales seem to tip one way or the other and there ain't nothing you can do about it. I'm so proud of you for riding it out. :hug::heartbeat::hug:

                        I went and had my hair cut & dyed. Oh how I needed that. It's amazing how I couldn't be bothered when I was so down. Anyway, it feels better!

                          I know I'm not here all that much, but it’ll probably be even less for the foreseeable future. Long story, but the Minister just convened a task force and I was told yesterday I’m on it. I am NOT HAPPY!!!

                            One other thing I have to share though. Do you remember Rags? She was a friend from the Undie days, and a very special, lovely lady. I think I told you the other day that she will be teaching me to scuba dive. But not until June!

                                Hey guys.
                                Rusty I am glad to hear mom is happy. Sadly I believe we will have to make a decision about dad soon. His mental state is detoriating and mom is the brunt of it.
