Re: Join up! Army against the grog!!! March 2018
Evening,
Lovely story JackieClaire, well, a happy ending. Are adopting children from within the UK unusual now? I know here, its very rare. Maybe through fostering.. but the policy is to keep them with the family as much as possible.. but shocking stories (from family members who are teachers and social worker friends).
Big paddys day celebrations here tomorrow. We will parade hop to do all the local ones that are so cringy, they are brilliant. The pubs will be brimming with the Rugby and the weather promises to be horrendous. Stay in bed Satz. Full house tomorrow night, the cousins are on a sleepover. Who's head will be in dire straits on Sunday morning.. NOT ours
Happy Paddys day...

I have a google translation link open
Its my ma's birthday today.......she would have been 84 today if she hadn't shuffled off.
IamMary........the powers that be do their very best to keep a child with the mother or father but some circumstances are beyond help......so yes its fairly unusual an out and out adoption......
The Red Roses beat Ireland yesterday..........so watch yerselvesIt could be worse, I could be filing.

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

So true Molls, I remember back when I'd be drinking green beer all day long! Course every holiday was a reason to get drunk, some just seemed even better lolQuitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. Happy St. Paddy's Day to the Irish Army Folks!
Here in the states, bacon has become an American staple food and I'm not fond of Lamb, so we'll be eating the kosher version of Corned Beef and Cabbage. I like the leftovers for sandwiches anyway. We may eat Corned Beef twice a year and that's all, so today is an excuse to get some as we do live in America. Whatever is on your plates today, may you all enjoy your day.
Day 30 has arrived. No Harp Lager or Guinness allowed. The Drunkards Progress. From the first glass to the grave...
