      :rotlf: A commercial for beets.........TrySuperBeets.com

I'm sitting here laughing. What timing for this commercial to show up when you were all talking about beets.

Re: One Step at a Time - March 2018

          Hi all,
Well, I have not been going to work very much this week. I told them they needed to start looking for a replacement for me so...I cleared out all my personal stuff just in case I decide not to go back. Have started going through my stuff and packing things I know I won't be using for the next few months. Not sure where I am going, but I know I will be moving form this old broke down trailer....no time off for Easter here. The kids are off today though.I probably won't be going up there though. Still doing the fruit and veg in the nutribullet. Think I may have lost a couple pounds. I don't really like beets much, but put fruit in with them so hard to taste. Well, my cats usually eat the stuff they kill. The eldest cat was a feral cat that I made friends with. She had kittens and those are my other two. They are mostly outside cats, but come in and sit with me in the evenings..am taking 2 online classes, one is about real estate and the other about investments...they are so boring, but stuff I don't know anything about so...will just get through it.......Pauly, hope you have a great cookie making session today.......Nora, I hate killing mice to but....well, you better get shopping for the baby huh? July will be here soon!.......Lizann, loved the cheese story!!I worry about my kids moving far from me. It may happen but I hope not. Hope Mark gets U.S.......Rusty, glad you got some time off work. Good for you!......Crusader, what kind of stuff do you plant in your garden?.....Glassie, those are cute rats. I have heard they are very smart......well, I guess I will work in the house some as it is raining...heading out to the park later for a bit of a hike.....b

              HELLOOOO!!

Glassie-Hahaha! Loved the pet rat pics! Those are cute rats...not the ugly brown ones with foot-long tails like the ones you see beneath the elevated train in Chicago!

Nora-no, I did not get all the china in the cabinet. Tomorrow. :-)

Pauly-what are you up to today?

Liz-I say Mark should go to San Diego.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE San Diego! I had a craving for jelly beans today so I caved. LOL

Big hellos to everyone else. Forgot I had a business task that must be done before noon and then it's off to take Mom to Church.

              Happy Good Friday, everyone. :happy2:

                Hi all,
3 beets in one scoop Nora? I can deal with that!!.....so my dd1 has all these problems and she messages me and tells me about them. She has had so many problems for so many years and she is only 21. Massive weight gain since she started college. Can't figure out why she says but she eats out all the time and skin problems and depression and period problems and just miserable. I have tried everything to help her and she has been to so many doctors. She has managed to get her soda drinking down to 1 a day, but still eats a lot of sugar.. She pretty much shoots down all my suggestions, so I don't know that there is anything I can do except listen. It is hard when stuff is out of your control. I know she knows she needs to change her eating habits, but says it is too hard to do it and be in school at the same time. I know how it is, as many years as I have struggled with booze. It is the same....I am hoping that me getting better will help her some...

Oh Bird - I'm sad to hear about dd1. I had hoped that college had helped - I knew she had sufferered from depression at some point. Is she in a dorm room?
                  Sending good thoughts. xx

Happy Friday! Bird, it's hard to watch our kids deal with there problems. Sometimes all we can do is listen and be there to pick up the pieces!
CJ FaceTimed this morning. They got a kitten! They now have five dogs and one cat! Those kids! It's an awfully cut Persian kitten with the bluest eyes, she really is sweet!

Rusty, I have stock in jelly beans! We have a system here. Mark likes the pink, purple and white, I like the green, yellow and sometimes orange and hubby eats the red and black! Actually he'll eat any of them.

Went to Erin and dans church tonight. The baby had on head phones as the music can get loud. He was so stinkin cute and left them on. He eventually fell asleep.

What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm having the family over for lunch after church Sunday.

bird I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. You said she's been to numerous doctors, but it does sound as though something strange is going on if she's also having period problems. Do you think she may have PCOS or something similar? That can often be difficult to diagnose.

Liz I laughed at your jelly bean system - symbiosis at it's finest!

My kids are coming for breakfast tomorrow. It used to be so simple when everyone just wanted chocolate. Instead the little one is still a bit young, so I have a basket of fluffy chickens and bunnies for her. And neither of my DILs eat sweets, so I've bought some spa type goodies for them (cruelty free of course). And we're all vegetarian, so that makes it a bit easier. I'm just feeling really exhausted though, so I bought some multivitamins today, hopefully that will help!

                      Happy Easter folks.

                            Hi all,
Ended up going to burger king todayosteroops:...can't believe I did that hehe. I just wanted a burger. Am watching this show, a lady talking about her homesteading, she has 3 acres and built a cabin by herself from a kit...anyway she put a horn on her donkey and says she has a donkeycorn...then she put it on her pony and said she had a ponycorn....really different huh?...I am impressed with her place though.....as for my dd1, she has an ultrasound next week to take a look...Nora, she is in a dorm. Maybe it is PCOS. Hope they find out....Lizann, that is a lot of pets!......Glassie, that was nice to make up the spa stuff......Pauly, sorry you had to work....well, back to that weird show....

Well this is embarassing! I think I mentioned I've been really exhausted lately. And my insomnia is going through the roof - I'm getting by on about 2-3 hours sleep a night. So I made what I thought was a lovely breakfast for the kids, except I forgot the stuffed mushrooms were still in the oven until breakfast was nearly finished and I accidentally put chocolate pods in the coffee machine. Lucky they still love me!

Bird, sometimes you just crave a burger and I'm sure that's just fine once in awhile. Your tv show sounds kind of interesting, if not a bit unusual. What is PCOS if I might ask?

GLassie, I had to laugh at your chocolate pods in the coffee. I have forgotten to put things out from the oven too. You've got a lot going on, I'm sure the kids understand. I hope you guys had a lovely day anyway!

Pauly how sweet Louie is! You're such a good grandma, eggs, cookies, bowling!

Rusty, how are you enjoying your days off? I'm sure you're keeping busy.

Nora, how are yiu doing. You've been kinda quiet!

Walked outside today and it was so nice! I even sat in the yard for awhile soaking up some vitamin D. I just love spring. Spent the day getting ready for the masses tomorrow. Lucy even got a bath! Got the kids baskets ready. Logan went to see the Easter bunny today and he went on the swings at the park. Both firsts for him. Fair to say he enjoyed his day. His other grandmother will watch him Monday. Not sure I like sharing him, but oh well.
