I am doing ok. Still in treatment but life goes on. Went skiing yesterday as we received BIG snow here in The Sierras. While I lack the energy I had last season, I went easy. Off to Santa Barbara tomorrow for a writers conference. So wonderful to hear from you Nora. Sending love and hugs to you and all the other Steppers. xoxo

Glad you were able to go skiing, Techie. There were a couple of avalanches in Mammoth!!!

What did everyone have for breakfast today? LOL Nothing for me. Don't get spoiled 2 days in a row. LOL

Pauly - I can't believe that Louie is 5 already!

Liz - when are you all going to St Croix?

Yesterday was C's birthday. He & J came over and we had cake. She was feeling pretty crummy yesterday. Ah, got to run........we are taking Molly on a walk. She's 11 years old and can hardly walk but oh does she love this!

Well - Molly managed to trip me and I fell down.......didn't just fall down. Managed to do a bump, slide and roll. :rotlf: And that wasn't humiliating enough, there was a woman standing across the street walking her dogs. osteroops:

OH Nora, are you ok? I've done that before too. It's humiliating for sure. Hope that your not sore tomorrow.
We are going to St Croix end of May. Still a long ways off. Hope DIL feels better, is it morning sickness? I had a granola/chia bar for breakfast. We did go out for lunch today, just me and my boys. I really wanted steak.

Techie good to hear from you. Glad you got some skiing in. My hubby and son were in Utah skiing like a week ago. Not for the faint hearted they said.

Bird glad your enjoying your weekend sober! It sounds like a lot of fun. Good wholesome fun. nothing like hot soup for dinner at a cabin. Sounds perfect to me.

Pauly, happy birthday Louie! How is he 5 already? Have fun celebrating. Most of the time hubby and I are too lazy to go out too. It's nice once in awhile.
Sounds like everyone had a pretty good weekend. How is it almost Monday again?

Pauly how nice, a piece of something great. I love it. I had a good day. Very busy but the day went fast and we had fun at work. Pauly I'm with you, hotels can be fun to stay in. I love a free breakfast. Rusty I'm sure it must get old.
I would never attend a five year olds party without a gift. I just don't get that.
Hubby is working on the taxes and he has been dieting all day. Makes for one grumpy guy. I get it though, no fun for him today. Tomorrow will be a better day for him.
They are forecasting another nor'easter for Wednesday. This time they are calling for about a foot of snow. Ugh. I may not be working Wednesday. We tried to reschedule some today already. Spring is on the horizon.
Nora, bird, hope you guys had a good day.

Hi all,
Well I am home and had a great time, but really overdid it, getting too tired, and now I have a cold. Thats ok at least it's not the flu. Was glad to see my cats, and the kids are happy to see them and pet. Kids home for the week and I will take them back Friday......Pauly, can't believe peeps don't bring a gift. Gah!! I also love hotels. I go see the kids about once a month and have my favs. Have also been using airbnb lately, which is how I got the cabin........Techie, glad you got some skiing in. Good to hear from you.......Nora, sorry about the fall. I almost fell on the trail and would have broke my ass.........Lizann, I saw that weather on the news. Be safe.....Rusty, hope you have a good hotel.....well, the guy who has been taking care of the house I inherited and all the legal stuff is coming over in a bit...looking forward to getting it all straight and legal....b

Good Morning!
bird-so glad you had a nice trip and you came home safely.

Liz-staying in hotels gets REALLY old. I don't usually stay in 5 star hotels... usually Hilton Garden or Hampton Inn. Good coffee 24-hrs. Hahah..a must!

Pauly-wow, that blows my mind that several of the Louie's friends didn't bring gifts. Are they very poor people? Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.

OK..of to work. Waves and hellos to everyone I missed.

Happy AF Tuesday!

Rusty - good to see you. I'll bet staying in the hotels gets old. Hampton Inn is nice but not snazzy. At least the ones that I've stayed in. You know that I'm such a world traveler. :rotlf: :harhar:

Bird - sorry that you got a cold. But, sounds like you are having a great time with the girls.

Liz - how are things at home today? Hubby in a better mood. Did I see that you were talking about Easter. I can't believe it's that time of year already!

Pauly - I couldn't believe it either about going without a gift to the party. I can't remember whoever said that maybe they couldn't afford it and I hope that is the case. So glad that you had things taken care of thought and it didn't bother Louie.
I loved your line about you hoped we all had something great today. :yay: I had something great today - I only worked 8 hours and I thought I was going to be working 9-1/2! Was so glad to get home.
