Super Sober Shout Out Sunday 11th March 2018

I'd like to see a big SUPER SHOUTY OUTY SUNDAY from members who have been here a while, those just starting out again and those just starting out for the very first time and to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day..........(I know your's later in the year over the pond but we who said we can't celebrate twice).............

SHOUT IT LOUD AND SHOUT IT PROUD. STAY STRONG AND KEEP THINKING POSITIVE ONE AND ALL. LET'S GIVE OUR BEST TOGETHER

Don't be shy and give it a try...........remember each and everyone one of us here started with a day one!!!!!

Let the time and date calendar take the strain from your brain when you're counting...........Date Duration Calculator: Days between two dates

For me its 3170 days from the start date to the end date, end date included or 8 years, 8 months, 5 days including the end date........

JackieM........a fab well done on those 1000 days.........good feeling isn't it.

I would would have that I'd be used to being sober by now. But even after almost 5 years I am SO grateful ..... and it still seems so new and amazing.
I have a daily reminder now with young Satz of the struggle we go through and THANK FECK I've come out the other side.
Those of you still struggling and fighting the beast - keep at it - wear the fecker down and you WILL get there

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

satz123 I am not almost 5 years, but far enough along that I can't believe that same feeling. I am SO VERY GRATEFUL to be rid of that beast.

So today makes it 1001 awesome alcohol free days. I am beyond grateful to be alcohol free and to continue to grow into the person I was meant to be.

Five point five years of sober living for me. It is great to feel alive, instead of being walking Alcohol slave.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
